S.A.T.Y.R. (Patreon)

A little something that I ran through the render queue overnight. 

Meet a character I'm going to call Bluebell.

Bluebell is a S.A.T.Y.R. 

That's a:

Sexually

Active

Toy

Yiff

Robot

This is a character that I've been working on, off-and-on, for well over a decade. It started with a couple of drawings posted to Guppy's Paint BBS, quite a long, long time ago, which depicted a sexbot character I was calling the Electric Love Monkey, who people seemed to like, and who I almost totally forgot about soon afterwards. 

Flash forward a couple more years, and I take a bash at doing a comic in 3d, and the sexbot character was revamped for it, now in 3d, as seen here:

I had shifted away from the Monkey design to more of a Ram/Sheep design, because I had no idea how to build or rig anything long and complex like a tail. 

But again, that project crashed and burned before it ever really got off the ground. However, it left me with this robot character, who was a sort of half-realized idea. A rough sketch of a character. So, I began tinkering. And tinkering. Changing, adjusting. Filling in details. Deciding I didn't like that bit, let's change that. Let's update that. I can do that so much better now. Rethinking the design each time I went in to fiddle with it.

And over the many years of thinking and rethinking, the character slowly filled out. And finally I realized I had tweaked it into something that was worth rigging. So I've started on that. I still need to do some additional work to it, but it's fixed up enough that I can snap off a quick beauty shot. 

Who knows, I may actually revisit the original comic idea at some point, now that I have a better robot.
