I honestly don't know how to start this post...

If I must be honest, when I started working on this madness called Lucky Paradox I didn't have much hope that it would become something meaningful, especially considering that I had zero experience creating videogames, but little by little and with a lot of love in between, this game has become an important part of my life.

It has been a beautiful journey to see how those sketches I used to draw in the breaks of the university, were coming to life, showing me the life behind a small town called Argleton... It is as if I had been taken by the hand to walk through its streets and meet its people, showing me a beautiful place... Not only that, but it has become a place I like to be, as sometimes real life is difficult, but somehow, Argleton has served as a refuge for me both emotionally and peacefully.

I know that talking this way about a game of this style may sound silly and stupid, but those who knows me closely, knows that for me this is much more than just a game.

It has helped me to meet very nice people. Like Sirxtias, who has supported me during every moment and from the very beginning, translating every letter of the game and correcting repeatedly, sometimes replacing large chunks of text because I decide to make changes at the last minute and in other things like music or Charlotte as a character and her stuff, it's been many late nights, but it's been worth it.

I think in some ways this game has brought us together a lot, and it's happened with a lot of beautiful people who have been part of it. Red, he was always there when I was down in the dumps and tired, trying to reach the estimated dates of each update (I hope you get better soon, my friend). MasterWizard has also been someone important during the crazy testing days, especially with the last remake (That was crazy AF xD), he and Jon the Wooloo have always been involved with the discord community. There are a bunch of people to thank in just one post...

Thanks for putting up with my bullshit and being the way, you are <3

I will also treasure forever those special moments, when one of you send me a private message, saying that Lucky Paradox has helped you a lot in these hard times, that your journey through Argleton has helped you as much or more than it has helped me. Sometimes you can't imagine the problems that everyone must face behind the monitor, but if I can contribute with a small part and brighten their days, it makes me feel very happy.

And almost without realizing it, this beautiful community has been growing and growing!

We have already surpassed 750 members here on Patreon, and each one of you have made the creation of this place called Argleton possible... I don't deserve the credit for this, but so do you. With your help, you have given the impetus to this self-doubting individual to move forward with this.

I never expected to be able to do an original soundtrack for Lucky Paradox, but here we are... And it's getting closer and closer to having a complete soundtrack <3

I don't know what else to say... I'm not good at this kind of stuff...

I promise I will keep working hard on making Lucky Paradox a reality. It's my only way to thank you for all you have done for me <3

I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this possible.

Stawer~

Just want to say, I found this game on itch.io and decided to give it a shot. Loved the look of the art style and it sounded interesting. I quickly got hooked. I'm thoroughly enjoying the story, the characters, all of it. And then, 5 minutes ago, I got to the point in Mary's story, with the "Dark Knight" and well... goddamnit, I immediately had to become a patron. That is literally my favorite comedy movie, of all time, and I was dying laughing. Bravo! And after putting I don't know how many hours into it so far, I want to play more. There are VERY few games that have made me laugh out loud, groan with cringe, and genuinely tear-up, and stay up far later than I should before a 10-hour work shift. Keep doing what you do! And congrats on everything so far, this game is a real gem! EDIT: Oh come on! You included Tim and the bunny too!? You magnificent bastard!

You don't know how happy this comment makes me feel <3 In the beginning, I thought no one would get the reference, but I had so much fun doing it that I decided to leave it. Besides being one of my all-time favorite movies xD Tis but a scratch

If you continue that event, might I suggest including the "Bridge of Death" scene? It would absolutely fit with what you've done so far. And the recreation of the black knight scene was spot on, still laugh just thinking about it.

Hello Stawer! I am really pleased to become a member of this Patreon (my first one!) I just hope I do not make an idiot of myself! As I am not sure how this Patreon thingy works, I am going to have a look around. I just wanted to say I am here (sorry,) for one person! YUI! I love Prim, Mary, Maxi, and Yui's 2 sisters, and all the other characters, but Yui is definitely my favourite character. Her one or two word sentences prove that you can still understand her and that other words are really unnecessary. Anyway, thanks again for creating this beautiful game! Sorry I contacted you here, but I am still learning this Patreon thingy!
