Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox!

This will be the last progress report until the release of the next update. A lot of progress has been made this week, so it might be a bit long post.

This week 300 more renders have been made along with 7 new animations, some erotic scenes from the first versions have been improved and extended. Some scenes that had only one animation are now composed of 2 or 3 animations, so it will be more fun.

The new renders of Sasha and Yui's story have been finished. So 95% of the artwork needed for the update is already done. The 95% is a pessimistic approximation, as there should be even less left, since they are small extensions of the GUI (for the Love and Depravity gains of the girls) and some renders that could be added in the testing phase.

Some changes have been made to the mechanics of Lucky Paradox, so that they can improve many things presented in the old version of the game. Let's get to the details.

1. The Library

The library until now has been a place where we can improve attributes in exchange for time. It was thought as a place where we could progress in the beginning, since we still didn't have unlocked activities with the girls. However, this design decision had too many flaws: You had to spend time to progress, the place was unusable when you progressed in the story, and you had to spend money to upgrade the place.

I wanted to do a little redesign to make it feel like something complementary, rather than a place to just go to grind, so now it will work differently.

When visiting the library we can talk to Helena, and she will tell us that there are four types of books available (Charisma, Knowledge, Subtlety and Creativity), from which we can borrow one of those totally free. Having selected one of these books, the main character will read a little before going to sleep so, at the beginning of each day, we will receive a random amount of attributes automatically, which can range from 0 to 2 points. If, in addition, we have in possession of one of these books for seven days, we will receive an extra bonus of attributes, which can range from 1 to 6 (one die). All this is automatic and requires no effort or time, but only one book can be active at a time.

The amounts are random, but will be sure to generate progress in the character however unfortunate it may be. And it will also be an interesting complement to the progression that we will get with each of the girls.

2. New Costume Shop

The old Kendra's store consisted in a menu with option buttons, where we could select one of the girls and buy an outfit. It was simple, but it also had several problems: You had to make too many clicks to buy something, there is no preview of the costume, all the information was very messy, there was no confirmation (Miss clicks) and there was little possibility of expansion, it was not possible to add a costume to secondary girls, like for example a Chun-Li costume for Shizuka hahaha Ya Ta! 

To fix this the store has been completely redesigned.

Now Kendra will show us a list with a preview of all the available costumes, worn by mannequins with standard measurements. 

Each box has a specific "anatomy": The color of the border gives a clue of the girl to whom the outfit belongs, the mannequin is in a characteristic pose for the personality of the girl in question and also the name is indicated at the bottom. We can also see the name of the costume and at the top left the price.

In this screen we can buy multiple costumes with the push of a button, so it is no longer so cumbersome to buy. Also, we are asked to confirm before buying the costume, to avoid some miss clicks and below we can also see the costumes that are still locked or those that have already been purchased. The locked costumes only show a silhouette, so it's not a Spoiler.

It's also worth mentioning that the new visual aspect is much better!

- Timmy: But Mr Stawer, all the costumes will be available at once or how is gonna work to unlock costume system?

- Stawer: They are unlocked by advancing the main story with girls, so at the beginning all the costumes will be locked.

3. Fishing

Fishing in the previous version, was no different from any kind of work. Not to mention that it was the least lucrative job of all, as we earned less money per time interaction.

I had thought about fixing this with a mini-game, but also, it's something that with repetition gets boring. Honestly, I think fishing is one of the most boring side activities there is in games :(

So it was redesigned to become a gambling game.

When you fish, you get a small sized fish as a reward. At that point you have two options: "Sell the fish" or "Use it as bait to catch something bigger". The first option assures you a minimum amount of money, while the second option opens up the possibility of earning much more in exchange for losing the bait and earning nothing but wasted time. This game cycle repeats itself in an unlimited way, so, if you are lucky, you can become a fishing millionaire.

There is another drawback: If the weight of the fish is too much and your fitness level is not enough, then you will not have enough strength to catch it and it will escape.

It is a concept that may seem strange at first, but I think that in terms of the context of the story it looks great and it is much more rewarding.

4. Small improvements.

From now on it is possible to change the language of the game in the options menu. The code has been lightened when moving between locations, to reduce lag on phones with less memory and a lot of small performance improvements have been made.

And that's all for this week, as I said at the beginning of the post, this will be the last progress report until launch. For now, only programming is required and many hours of testing to have a version as stable as possible.

Everything looks amazing! Lots of great improvements and upgrades of previous things such as the library and fishing. Love the new shop as it is really nice and easy to use. Really excited to see the animations of course lol. Awesome work Stawer!

Clean job as always! all sounds really exciting ^^ It's nice u added some realism and updated the mechanics of the books, they were indeed a farming place back then, but with this, besides the impressive visual change, it feels more like interacting with a library. Also the new shop looks really lit! honestly I love the new interface visually and it's way more confortable to use than the old one! And the new fishing it's gonna certainly be more interesting to participate on, it will force the player to also work on the fitness and even challenge the limits of Lucky, I can't wait to catch a Megalodon. As always, thank you for all the work u're doing and I'll be really looking for aswell to see these new reworks on the girls' story/interactions/Visuals/S E X &lt;3

There is a section when talking to the girls as well as rainor’s shop that is dedicated for gifts but there are no gifts seemingly implemented other than a certain instrument or 2 and the rare once or twice general buy. Is there any plans to implement gifts or gifting of items to the girls? This could perhaps lead to increasing the girl’s love or depravity unless you want that locked to storyline. If so, perhaps maybe consider a mood system where you could annoy them or have scenarios where the girls are put into bad moods. They wouldn’t necessarily talk to the player or go on dates ect. Then you could cheer them up with a gift. Just a smallish mechanic that I think might make the game more realistic. Loving what you’ve done, what your doing and what your going to achieve Stawer! Love the game and love you :D

First comes the release of the remastered version in a few days, then the 0.7 version and once finished, the next update will be dedicated to the Kamen Rainor store with Kendra and Alice's story. During that update, a gift system focused on optional content (for birthday gifts, Christmas and other activities) will be added with a full store similar to the new costume store, however, with the remastered version you no longer need to buy anything to progress through the main story. The idea you say sounds great! When the time comes I will analyze the possibility of implementing it in the game. &lt;3
