Patreon Taxes Changes (Patreon)

   Hi, everybody. I hope you're doing fine

   It is difficult to give this news, since taxes are not a topic that I like to talk about... Now I must do it, since it’s my responsibility as a creator to keep you up to date with everything.

   Some will have already received an email explaining the tax increase that will be on the platform from July. This change should not affect too many people, as it depends on where they live and the increase will be from 5% to 11%.

   Not all donations must pay taxes and in some cases, only a percentage of each will have each tax. All this money will go to your local government.

   These days I have read quite a bit about all this, plus I am working closely with Patreon, so in case this happens, you can save as much money as possible. They have provided us with tools to be able to configure each tier in a personalized way.

   I have made changes in the rewards of the tiers, although everything will remain absolutely the same. This is just a change in wording to be able to justify the tax percentages that each reward has in its respective tier. You don't have to worry about any of that <3
