The weekly update has been released!
This update is available to ALL Patrons, with the public build being released in a few days.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!

In this week's update there's a new love event for Asteria and the Eldritch storyline moves forward... with spooky results! Where is all this leading? And will it result in tentacles? Let's hope not! (Or do. Y'know, whatever you're into). Also, Lyx is being weird again. I hope you enjoy! :)

CHANGELOG:

  • MAIN STORY: New Main Story event! (Follow your ELDRITCH lead!)
  • Asteria: New LOVE Event!
  • Lyx: Lyx will now appear in certain places each day of the week, once you've completed Chloe's second story event! Every day she can be found in a new spot - can you find all seven locations Lyx is hiding? Let me know in the comments if you do! (And no cheating!)
  • Misc: Gwen's yandere events will no longer trigger when she's sleeping with you or in the dungeon. Because there's crazy and then there's CRAZY
  • Misc: Updated a whole bunch of older renders and animations that had various glitches and inconsistencies
  • Misc: Updated a number of Lead images
  • Bug: Chloe was experiencing outbreaks before a certain event. Quiet those voices in your head!
  • Bug: Fixed a weird glitch in one of Claire's animations. No more subliminal messaging!
  • Bug: Roxy's love level wasn't showing properly. She should be at level 3 now if you've completed all her events so far. She loves you more than you thought!
  • Bug: Minor typos fixed

rofl. when I read the email I got "new love event for Asteria and the Eldritch" the "storyline moves forward" part had been moved down a row. so I was like "wait love event for the Eldritch?" but sadly that wasn't true :P

Found Lyx every day for a week

Welcome back! Hope you enjoyed your break. Now, before I go on Lyx-hunt... The only "Yandere" events I had until now were some creepy phone calls and an overzealous conversation at the front door. Are there more? And if so, do I need to ignore Gwen for a longer period of time to trigger them? I try to spend "quality time" with every girl of the household at least once a week as a rule, so... In the past update you were talking about "potions" in relation to Lily's bar. Did you mean the ones you can buy at the merchant's? Because the only thing I've ever been eable to get at the bar is more work -_- I'll make another comment if (when) I find Lyx in all seven locations. If I don't, read you next week. P.S.: Did my comment to the public release 0.8.7 get through? I've had issues with comments not reaching the creator on patreon before, and since you didn't reply, I'm wondering. Not that you're in ANY way expected to reply to any single comment you get of course (sweatdrop emoji), I was just really curious if you were familiar with the lead icon bug I mentioned.

Thanks! It's good to be back :) There's one more Yandere event (so far) that you haven't seen - if you want to get it (and Gwen's associated Quirk) then you'll need to spend no "quality time" with her at all for a while. 30 days at most if she's at zero "Yandere level", less if she's a higher Yandere level. The potions I was talking about in relation to Lily were the fertility potions you get from the Mysterious Merchant. They weren't showing up as an option when you picked "cowgirl". I did see your comment, but I tried not to answer much over my break (I have a tendency to get sucked back into work when I'm supposed to be resting my shoulder!) - sorry! As for the bug, it seems to be something Ren'py does randomly in about 0.1% of user cases. Advancing the questline should remove it. If not then you can send me your save file either here on in Discord DM and I'll edit out the errant icon for you. Good luck with the Lyx hunt! ;)

Was wondering at @Arc if the render animation for small pixie has been fixed because it looks off like not entering if u get my drift XD

Unfortunately it's never going to look %100 right - it's a custom animation, which KK (the software I use) reeeeeeally doesn't like. If I move Pixie's model any further back you get some truly horrific clipping issues more suited to one of H.R Giger's wet dreams ;P

Different places around town :) You'll see her poking her head up somewhere and the option "Talk to Lyx" will appear.

Her Hallowe'en outfit? You have to have decorated your room with the three Hallowe'en decorations and seen Alice's costume event (Make sure you have all three Hallowe'en decorations active, you've completed Chloe's assassin event, have Jessica at LOVE 3 or higher, then visit Chloe's room any weekday morning) - then just sleep! :)
