This whole sequence was actually kind of the goal of this chapter. It's something that I haven't really seen in a lot of porn... when S&m play goes farther than someone is actually comfortable with. In Dr. Sharktopus's initial pitch Hannah was showing resistance during the chapter, with this page revealing that they still have a safe word all throughout, but I was worried that too many people would be put off by the chapter seeming fairly... rapey. So that's why I made a point to have Hannah's resistance and the safe word sequence all come forth in one page. That might just be paranoia on my part, but one of the main recurring criticisms I've gotten is from readers who were upset at Jenna's first time with Lily, where she basically pounced on Lily without getting permission first. It's a delicate subject matter, and it's something I just definitely prefer to play safe rather than push the envelope.
