BSC 7-01: Hi-Res (Patreon)

Before I talk about the comic, I just wanted to mention that my birthday is coming up on the 9th, and I'm planning to take the day off from work. Things aren't perfect, though... at the start of the year my wife found out that a subscription she thought she had cancelled was still active, and she was charged for another year of service... which means that she's broke and I'm basically stuck paying for all my own birthday stuff. Which feels uh... not great. Anyway, if anyone wants to help, maybe consider upping your pledge momentarily. You're charged up front and you get the benefits of an increased pledge for the whole month, even if you scale it back down immediately after. It would be a big help for us both.

Okay, for the comic itself... what does everyone think of Laya? Apparently human/alien hybrids have appeared in Star Wars, and one of their defining features is their splotchy skin. I didn't want to go too far with that, but I gave her a lighter patch on her chest and abs. The markings on her horns are brown, to match with the fact that Padme has brown hair. Her figure is more based on Padme than anything else (since there's nto really a lot of reference of Leia in the Clone Wars style), to the point that I actually referenced that one shot in the movie Your Highness where Natalie Portman strips for the first panel (although apparently she used a body double for that scene, but whatever).
