Welp. Been a while. It's been about 4 months since the last installment of this monthly Q&A podcast. In recompense, this episode is almost 4 times as long as usual. I just had that much to talk about. It's been a pretty busy few months and a lot has happened. I moved twice, got 4 credit cards, made Road to Radcon and the Radcon Doujin, got ripped, and more. I talk about all of it in this exciting episode, and for that I apologize.

Wait, Ben, you got a phone that works now? Not the one with the abysmal numberpad layout and predictive typing that you described on the PCP? I will COOM if you release that churning guide video, and I will DOUBLE COOM if you release that analysis of Phantom Horn video I should really look into those long-time patreon backers rewards, I bet I’ve been backed long enough to get EPIC ART, I SHALL FORCE YOU TO DRAW MY FURSONA YET AGAIN. But, uh, where do I see how much money I’ve given you total? I’ve been pledged for I think about a year and a half now… Also, this is a kind of an out-there question, but I know you’ve gone to a furry con before with Kazee and Munchy AND you’ve worn a fursuit before, so I’m wondering if you’ll be going to MFF (midwest furfest)? And if you would be so kind as to sate my furry curiosity, what is your fursona? Apologies if you’ve answered that last question before. I was also watching some of your nuzlocke videos earlier and it had made me wish I was a patron then (even though I had never heard of you at that point) because I wanted a pokémon to be named after me, so basically I’d be hype if you were to make another nuzlocke series. If you do, do you know what game you will run? Also, out of curiosity, you’ve used a capture card for your pokémon videos, right? When did you get it and who did you get it from? a) Obviously another Nuzlocke series would be a good idea. Does the next one have to be a generation later than Gen 7 (as Conquest continued from Gen 5) or was that just a coincidence of circumstance. I care deeply about the narrative implications of continuing the arc, more than anyone, so if you were to make another series, would it be a continuation of Genocide and Conquest, or a new story, or simply just a normal Nuzlocke without kayfabe? b) Do you have any other comic ideas that have come to you when working on your other projects that you just haven’t mentioned because, y’know, it’d be about half a decade before you’d be able to work on them? Or are you pretty solely focused on the ideas you do have, do you take notes at all if you have a spark of inspiration? c) What’s your lifting schedule and program? Are you trying to bulk then cut or do you not care much for your aesthetics and just want number go up? Sounds like you’re doing pretty well, how close are you to 100% body weight bench and 200% body weight deadlift, as a rough metric for weight:strength ratio. Either way, keep it up, lifting is a rare Ben W (smile). d) Hey remember drawvlogs, those 2 super based videos you did literally 5 years ago. I think they’re entertaining and relisten to them semi-frequently. Assuming you’re not releasing pages publically until a chapter is finished, you could always post them as ‘Patron exclusive content’ baby, as we get to see your work early anyways. Would you be interested in making that content again or does it slow down your process too much? e) WRT work flow, do you have a set process? Do you sketch, ink and type set pages in batches respectively or do you complete one page at a time, etc? Is it something you’ve experimented with at all -are you happy with it- do you think you work fast? f) You mentioned the Action Button Cyberpunk review on the show, did you end up watching it? Which of the stories did you choose, if you did follow the premise that is. If you did, did you then watch the others afterwards? I think the times where Tim just autistic-posts for like 20 minutes on a tangent about his clothes from Japan or whatever are the most fascinating parts of his videos lol. Times when you just forget the video was supposed to be about Cyberpunk, though, I suppose his videos are never really “about” the games. g) What would be more embarrassing, May having a child with (formerly) Digibro, or May having a kid with Ethan Ralph? It’s so surreal that that’s a true thing that happened, it’s hilarious. h) How fleshed out is the subsequent chapters of Champion in your head? In general, do you have a strong visual sense of the chapters before you work on them, or is it more of a writing outline? Okay that’s it, that’s all the questions. I know it’s a lot, but it has been like 4 months, so I’m just getting my money’s worth. You may be stupid, but you won’t die hungry. Video games are forever, and remember, there is no L in Ben Saint, though there is no W either. Have a good day.
