Zico has been through A LOT from his debut days to present. He did say and do some stuff that he wasn’t proud of at all. He was young at that time and he thought about it, reflected, educated himself, and said a very genuine apology multiple times. He changed certain lyrics in his past songs and has become an educated and better person cuz of those mistakes. Despite his so-called tough image, you’re right! He is a soft hearted kind of guy who is actually quite romantic/affectionate when it comes to relationships. It’s true that Zico and AOA’s Seolhyun dated for like a year or so and it was very low key until dispatch exposed their relationship. AOA was going through really tough times, losing Choa and not sure about comebacks and etc. There were some scandals surrounding AOA and it was rough on Seolhyun. Zico was there to help her get through it and that’s how their romance bloomed. When the news came out, naturally AOA fans and knets were confused as to why Seolhyun would date a guy like Zico. She deserves a “good looking”/clean cut good guy like another idol or even actors. Zico wasn’t good enough for Seolhyun and all that crazy stuff. First of all, Zico is tall, funny, and handsome af! He also can clean up well and dress up nicely too! Have they seen Zico is fashion magazines and at award shows? He is not just an idol rapper and his image isn’t just hip hop or whatever they think a rapper show look or act like. But a few months after their relationship was made public...they decided to break it off. Too much nosy media and crazy fans and you know AOA was already going through enough at that time. I felt so sad for both of them cuz I felt they gave each other strength when they were both struggling. They seem to genuine like each other, but because of career and fans they let it go. I think more so for Seolhyun than Zico...I think Zico would have fought for their relationship if she allowed him to, but whatever..we don’t know what truly happened behind the scenes. But it just made me sad for both of them. Also, never really heard about any beef between Jay Park and Zico. They seem okay with each other on social media and etc. I think they were comparisons because Jay Park left JYP/2PM years ago and then came back strong by creating his own record company, AOMG in which Zico has a lot of friends in AOMG. Zico didn’t re-sign with the record label that BLOCK B is under, but he is still the leader of BLOCK B (who is also in military hiatus). So it made sense that he kind of went on his own way and also create his own record label with KOZ Entertainment. Btw...BLOCK B was so mistreated when they were rookies with their first record company. They never got paid even though they were making money and was doing music shows/variety shows. They never saw the paychecks... NOTHING. Finally, BLOCK B fought back and sued their asses and I believe they won the case (pls correct me if I’m wrong about that). Then they signed with seven seasons Entertainment where they’re currently in, but like I said most BLOCK B members are in the military. I also believe..soon Zico will also have to enlist cuz he’s a 92-liner! So I’m hoping for more Zico music before he enlists cuz seriously every album that he’s dropped has so much diverse music and emotions. You really have to react or listen to his other albums Ben!
