I'm soo excited that you are watching this show! It's one of my favorite series I've ever watched and the only K-Drama I actually ever finished hahaha (I have started to watch quite a few, especially ones that are highly recommended, but somehow they never interest me enough to keep watching them - this is the only exeption for now hahah) I think this drama flew under the radar a little bit, I haven't seen much buzz around it either or it might be one of those shows that people either love or hate. (I hope you'll love it!) Two things that I wanted to highlight here: 1. The identity of the girl on the rooftop. They never clearly state who/what she is, but one of the first things Doom says to her is "What kind of a god runs the world so recklessly? Are you bored at the hospital?", after showing her the blood on his doctors coat. He is basically accusing her of creating a world filled with evil out of boredom - which is a pretty telling sign for what she actually is (god). 2. This is actually something I only realised the second time I watched this. At the end, when Dong-gyeong falls down in the street, nearly gets run over and time gets frozen, Doom says: "So god is on my side, after all", which suggest that it wasn't actually him who stopped time, but god. Which in turn poses the question - Why? Why would she (god) intervene in this particular instance, does she want them to make the 100 day-wishing for Doomsday-Deal, why would she want that, whats gods plan with all of this? I'm really looking foward to re-watching this entire series with you guys. I personally was fascinated with the entire premise of this drama and I loved how much focus was put on showing the emotions Dong-gyeong is going through. (that might have been the reason why it felt a bit slow for you Josh - they had a lot of shots of her just walking and nothing happening, to show how lost and confused she was feeling in that moment. For me personally, I really enjoyed those shots, but I totally understand how it might make it feel a bit slow at times, even though there was a lot happening in the episode) Already looking forward to the next episode! Josh, I hope you get well soon!
