Happy Birthday Hobi! 🎊 lol this was indeed one of Taehyung’s classic lives. It was one of those lives that got put straight into the paid tier back in the day for a reason lol. We were all also Army detectives like Josh replaying parts of it again and again. Esp when Tae went to change and you could hear him still murmuring, talking. lol the amount of people back then that were adjusting the volume trying to isolate what he said and the conversation he was having. The Spring Day snippet Tae played was his version of the guide/demo he created but Namjoon’s version was ultimately chosen and became the spring day we know and love. Tae’s longer version was finally after so many years released on the Proof Album with other demo versions. But he did sing the melody of it during a few of their wings concerts during Army time. The reason Tae singing Lay Me Down by Sam Smith was familiar to you was because Tae later on went on to sing it during Bon Voyage 3 and their special dinner in the restaurant in the sky in Malta. The song meant a lot to him. Also this was the start of Tae really liking Colin Firth the actor who was in Bridget Jones… he’s gone on to describe him as his fav actor etc and inspiration to him in acting in other content quite a few times over the years. And yes Tae and BTS but Tae and JK esp were really TikTok before tiktok. They created so many famous memes on twitter and dub smash etc and on the fan cafe’s. My fav thing about this live amongst many… how precious Tae was in praising the other members parts, also his endearing struggle with using standard speech. Also when Josh was asking if Tae is mimicking using the wheel lol, it’s Tae’s version of turning the mic to us and asking us to sing along keke. Look forward to your Hobi vid later. 💜
