Glad you guys are watching anime again. I don't mind you guys not talking much cuz some anime definitely needs your full attention. AOT has a lot of info so it can be a lot to take in. Layer on a lot of things fall into place so you'll understand it more. Also yes AOT is on the last part of the final season.

To answer your questions: Only Eldians have the ability to transform into Titans. Eldians are a specific group of people with a unique genetic trait that allows them to transform into Titans. The Ackerman family, including characters like Mikasa and Levi, are not known to possess this Titan-shifting ability. Instead, they are known for their exceptional combat skills, agility, and strength, making them powerful soldiers, but they cannot transform into Titans. It seems like you might not have noticed when Dina Fritz(the blondie wife of Grisha) turned into a Titan; she appeared very familiar. I'll let you figure it out the next time she appears on screen. Also, yes, Josh, Eren's Titan form is the same as the one the Owl had.

Yes, when you understand more, things will click and you'll probably speak more, but even still, it's no problem. I'd rather you try to understand what's going on than feel the need to comment. It is a confusing show that info dumps a lot. I'm glad you haven't completely abandoned this because the finale solidified the series as one of the best I've ever seen.
