Jungkook has consistently been someone with the lowest self esteem I’ve ever seen. Literally he always puts himself down “I don’t work hard enough and need to work harder, “I’m not good enough I need to be better,” hiding his face and changing the camera quality bc he feels insecure about his face, anytime he’s complimented.. he almost always says it’s not true and finds a way to put himself down again… and I think a lot of ppl take it as he’s just being humble or whatever… but if you really listen to him speak about himself.. he’s always way too criticism of himself… and it’s obvious he’s being sincere about thinking that… and I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen him gain so much confidence… and really starting to see what potential everyone has always told him that he has.. it seems to have lit a fire under him… and I could not be happier about that!!! I think being in a group as the youngest kinda hindered him a bit.. things his hyungs did that he never really was asked to do… or never really in charge of speaking up… made him even more insecure.. as if he couldn’t do those things alone.. but through this process.. he’s seeing he’s completely capable of greatness and really without the safety net he’s had his entire career. Everything his hyungs did for him were for his own good and the group… but sometimes especially for the baby of a group… it can lead to thinking they CANT do things for themselves… or would never be good at that.. so I think he’s proud of what he’s been able to achieve on his own… mainly bc he never thought he could do them. That’s given him a brand new perspective.. and he’s happy he rested for awhile but also now regretting it a bit bc he wishes he put music out sooner lol I’m just glad he’s had this opportunity to gain that confidence.. I love how he still talks about what BTS will be like when they come back together… and being excited for that. So proud of him… and all of them… they’re really so special!!!

With the album thing.. mmm I think sometimes riding the wave of success of Seven could also be a good route to go… ya know drop an album while attention is on him… but I can see waiting a bit too… but he keeps saying that an album we should get before this year is over. Maybe he’s aiming for his birthday? I duno… bc then we have vs supposedly… but I know jungkooks album was supposed to come out after yoongis.. not just the single… but his album… so not sure how this will work.. but just excited and so proud!! Can’t wait for you guys to watch his vlives he just did. Have mercy this guy lol the long one is cute and emotional and the 3 small ones are just another level… man is def trying to kill me 💜
