As you may already know, this drama is a fusion historical drama, so it's good to know that there are many parts that don't match the actual history! And most of the foods that Queen makes are modern. The scene where she makes instant ramen is 100 percent comedy. (I love that scene:) The history of ramen didn't start there. lol The same goes for foreign wrod and slang that she uses (Like "No touch", "social network service(SNS)".

Everyone knew she was the queen when she was disguise as a man except the funny guy that was with her when she left the palace. And the king wasn't trying to kill her because he wants to be with the concubine, we was trying to find out if she heard what they were saying and their plans about her father. If she did hear them, then he would kill her. And also Josh don't worry about not knowing all the names, just focus on the main characters names, there's a lot of people that are the support of the support people ( I hope you understand what I mean by that ). For me this show was a 10 out a 10 and I only memorize half of the names, I memorize their faces, and I've watched this show at least 5 times and I still don't know a lot of names 😜😂

Omg you read my comment and gave me shout-out! That's so nice of you, I appreciate that so much since I just became a patreon the same day I commented on that Mr. Queen episode 2. I hope you won't stop watching this drama, it's the reason why I subscribed as a patreon. Just like everyone said, it's okay if you're not familiar with the names or not getting the story because it will only make sense once you finished the kdrama. If you guys missed something, we comment about it too 💜

Another thing I want to mention, When the Queen was crying to her cousin prior to the incident that she jumped in the lake, you guys are right... She's really going through a lot, she dreamed about being a Queen but the moment she entered the palace she realized how cruel people are in the palace...she learned something that opened her eyes about the palace plus the King not reciprocating her feelings. You will know more in the next episodes why she's so heartbroken. Also, she's not just being "friendly" with Jo HwaJin the concubine, she's attracted to her as a man. She wants to be in good terms because she likes pretty girls LOL 😆

Lol ayeee! Thanks for the small s/o y'all. My name is pronounced eye-REE :) I'm glad this episode was more enjoyable. It's just so funny bringing the modern comedy into this historical drama. And the king and queen have true married couple energy, it's so relatable I love it lol. You guys are picking up on a lot. Thankfully you guys have that guide for all the names and positions of the people in the palace. Also, idk if you guys caught it but the king is so curious about the queens words "no touch" and "SNS" because she's speaking English slang 😂 they don't know any language except native Korean (and probably Chinese) back in those days so they are really trying to figure her out why she's saying all these weird words 😂

I'm so glad you decided to watch Our Blues, this drama has many main characters and all their stories are equally heart touching. It's a perfect healing drama for summer.

Hey hey just wanted to say about the cousin thingy. I think you are not aware, but its kinda ‘normal’ for some of us in Asia to get married with cousins. I think there are other parts of the world that still allows marriage between cousins. Tbh, my grandmother and grandfather are cousins too 😅 its actually a common thing especially back then. not so much now but its still allowed in some countries. I think one reason might be because asian families back then are so big (10 children each family) that you might not be close with cousins so its not that weird to get married to each other. So, yeah I understand you guys are appalled by that idea but its actually is a thing 😅😅 Now I wouldn’t want to get married with my cousins because our families now are smaller and we are like brothers and sisters. 😅

So if you watch historical dramas like this, you might see these kind of love stories lmao just giving you a heads up 😂 but luckily the cousin here is adopted cousin lmao so its not really a problem 🤣
