Aww I really loved the end discussion you guys had. This show definitely makes you think and reflect about your own life because of how relatable it is or vice versa. It brings up those hard topics. Seeing you guys depend on each other is amazing after all y'all been through. I'm sure your kids love and appreciate you both and will understand more in the future. Sheesh when the mom started breaking down 😭😭 she held it in for so many years. She should've been there for her husband at the funeral for sure. But she also had to make a hard choice since she was going to be the main breadwinner since her husband was passing away and her work was putting pressure on her. So I can see both sides the situation just sucks 😢. I was a damn wreck at the end when they held hands. This episode on Mother's Day is such a crazy coincidence. Happy Mother's Day cait! 💐

Personally, I was always on Heedo's side when it came to her relationship with her mum. I can understand that she has her own ways of coping and that she has her own personal ambitions that she wants to fulfill, but ultimately she's failed as a mother to me. Sure she's making money to support them both, but what's the point of that kind of support if you can't support your child when they need you? Her crying about her husband's death in secret doesn't make me feel sympathy for her because, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. HER CHILD was devastated by the death of her dad and her mum never bothered to comfort her or be there with her in those difficult moments. And after that, it seems she's missed every important moment in Heedo's life so far because of her job over and over again, so how many times can you really justify it? Even if she might have good intentions in her own head, actions speak louder than anything else, and all she's ever shown Heedo is that she is cold, detached and just doesn't care enough about her feelings. Every time Heedo is upset, she never asks "Are you okay?" but always says stuff like "What's wrong with you? Are you stupid?". She is so mean to her and her only justification is "Well this is just who I am and you better accept it" instead of trying to find a compromise. This is the saddest part to me because with how much Heedo craves her attention and affection, it would take so little for her to make Heedo happy.
