Jin Buyeon's current face is Naksu's face in episode 1 of Part 1. Jang Uk is so strong now no one can beat him and we love that !!

I don’t know if you recognize the new girl in jinyowon, but she is the original Naksu in season 1.

also a little piece of nugget if no one has mentioned it . in season 1 whenever mudok would speak internally to herself it was actually the voice of go yoon jung ( current female lead aka naksu) that is why her voice sounds so similar . im so excited to rewatch this with you guys 😆

Mkay I found part 2 much more mature than part 1. Also there's the sense of darkness and melancholy that I just love. Uk is a bit more spicy in this than he was last season lmao. The guy with Maidservant Kim is just another member of the house. I believe he had a small role in the first season. It's been 3 years so we can assume he was promoted to a more senior role in the staff.

Buyeon is played by the actress who played the OG Naksu that we saw a few times in season 1. You probably don't recognize her because her hair was up. This is not a third person, it's only been the two actresses lmao. The Jin family has been hiding Buyeon three years which is why Danggu thought it was Choyeon getting married and why the Jin family has kept outsiders away from Jinyowon. To help with confusion consider season 1 as Mudeok/Buyeon with Naksu's soul and consciousness and season 2 as Buyeon with Naksu's face and consciousness "asleep" inside of her. I'm only telling you guys this because when the show was airing we knew that Jung Somin (the actress who played Mudeok) will not be returning for season 2 and that Go Yoonjung (the current Buyeon actress and girl who played Naksu) will be taking over as main lead so it was easier for us to figure out what was going on. This was something that was planned so it wasn't any behind the scenes reasons for this.

I love how fearsome the actress was in the few scenes she was in for Part 1 as the OG Naksu, but she literally looks like a soft puppy in Part 2 😭
