Writing this comment to explain questions you guys had while watching your reaction: 1. The bunch of crystals we saw in early episode 7 brought in by soul shifter eunuch to Jin Mu are not ice stone. They are soul ejector produced by ice stone as explained by Master Lee at the start of the episode. Naksu used it to soul shift, Jang Gang used it, and even Jin Mu's right hand man used it to soul shift with Jang Uk. They need to drop the ejector into some sort of water/liquid to perform AOS. 2. When Jin Mu said "I gave her (Naksu) the power" it doesn't mean he gave Naksu his energy like Master Heo gave to Uk. It actually a way of saying he trained her to be the strong assasin she is/was. 3. Jin Mu is half brother of Lady Jin as a result of their father's affair. However, we need to remember that surname Jin family members goes through daughters as in the mother must be a Jin since their family practiced matriarchy. Jin Mu is not born from a Jin lady so Jin Mu shouldn't received Jin name but their mother still let him use it. 4. Oh god no 😂 Maidservant KIM is not related to PARK Jin. They did told us she was a maid for Dohwa (Jang Uk's mom) and came with her to the fotress and become maidservant for Jang's family once Dohwa got married to Jang Gang. I would assume Dohwa used to work with Master Heo at the infirmary because in episode 3(?) he said Uk's mom was like a daughter to him while piggybacking Jang Uk drunk 😂 5. Yes their power related to water (also related to sky where water/rain comes from). Daeho is a country surrounded by lake after all. The lake is filled with energy from the sky (as explained in episode 1 before the story skipped 20 years). Which is why Naksu regained her power while inside the lake. 6. Josh, when you said only 2 people can do 'it', do you mean two people that can actually perform AOS correctly the proper way? Well, to be able to perform AOS correctly without having a risk of going wild, a mage needs to master Level 4 Hwansu (which is a super super hard to achieve). We had been informed through Master Heo in episode 4(?), Master Seo Gyeong as in the founder of Songrim who also saved Daeho during Great Chaos 200 years ago is one, and the other is a mystery that seems only Heo Yeom knows(?) but we can actually guess by now. Basically, to reach that level they need to learn from someone who is at that level. So have fun guessing!

My favorite episode in the first half of the show too! Jang Uk is such a baddie 😂🔥

Aw. Im still watching your reaction for episode 8. Might have more to explain 😂 But love your reactions. Feels like watching with friends.

I agree with the fact they are indeed cheating because Mudeok intervene and crown prince lost focus because of that but it is still kinda cool. Plus, others were focusing on things like "who taught you that?" Instead of "his maid intevene" so yeah 😂😂 their fault. 7. The duel doesn't necessarily has to end with someone death although it could lead to that because as Yul mentioned it is an official duel between mage so even if they see Uk half dead they are not allowed to stop them. 8. Yul is probably more concern of their safety more than anything. Jang Uk is his bestfriend while Naksu is his childhood friend and crush. Just remember Alchemy Of Souls (without mastering Level 4 Hwansu) is a crime and Songrim is looking for soul shifters and the source of it.

I remember that song- "Meet me at the altar in your white dress. We ain't getting no younger so might as well do this." It is jagged edge I think 🤔

Maidservant Kim and Jang Uk's relationship is so pure and it always makes me cry.
