For your questions at the end, it is important to check the sources of the videos you watch, as some are indeed fake so be careful. Even if a guy says 'i met jin and he was like this' be careful of what you believe, it can be clout or just for a headline- because money is money. On a lighter note, there are videos where they interviewed actual soldiers who are allowed to have time off, and stuff like that or from people who have been discharged already and can share their experience as someone who trained there. Military life hasnt been too different for years, its just a shorter time frame now. Plus the Military Base itself has its own 'news' where they keep their nation up to date on what their soldiers are doing. Not really Seokjin only, but in general they do post what meals they are serving them, and their schedules are known because they are very systematic and disciplined. Jin gets private time today for example as its always custom for soldiers to have time off on Saturday. And he's eating well based on the militarys updates, if you follow in seokjin fbs on twitter you get to see what the soldiers eat that day and it looks really good. Plus if you know Jins lesser known side, he used to work out religiously and has abs for days so I dont doubt bootcamp isnt hard for him, its the cold that I'm worried about but they are allowed to bring certaiin personal items with them. And I dont recall when it will be allowed, but Jin has a phone and will be allowed to use it for certain amounts of time when a certain date is reached. Plus he's allowed to be visited after the 5 week training is done, in fact in jan when he graduates from bootcamp his entire family as well as the other recruits have a ceremony with their loved ones being able to come. I'm always going to be thinking about Seokjin and his wellbeing but its a small comfort to know he's eating well and is prepared for anything, but of course he's in my prayers everday just out of love..
