There's a scene that is cut out in the version you are watching. I think they didn't have time to add it in before release, so it was later added in the blu-ray version. It's during the beginning when Jean is struggling with his gear until Conny comes. They briefly show Jean heading straight towards a Titan right after that, and them boom, he's is magically back with everyone and no titans. The scene shows how he gets out of that situation. It's a very brief scene, but if you want to see it you should check out another source online.

I see, that’s why I didn’t see that scene in their reaction video! I was wondering like it says “uncut” but it was cut.. now I understood why.

don't forget to watch the OVA "No Regret" Part 1 and 2 after episode 25 before starting season 2 and watch OVA "Ilse's Notebook" after Season 2 episode 1.
