I've been watching with you from the start of this series. I did go ahead and binge watch on my own but watch with you still. First I want to say that I found at times it hard to watch due to comments and things taking away from the scenes but I let a lot of it go. This episode however I did agree on one thing though Tae role is very unique but also very important as well. Due to the bone rank system it divided his family , and Taes death in the end I believe opened many eyes to the damage this system can cause and gave those that needed reaffirming that it needs to change. Also u just want to say although yes ah ro cried and whines through out the show it important in my opinion to look past that and see how she made each character stronger . She made them in her own way become the men they will end up to be so yeah she cries but she also challenges them in the mean time. This is just how I see this and my humble opinion of a show I love a lot.

This is my 5th time watching this Drama, watching it with you this time around has been a blast especially watching Cait’s reactions and listening to Josh, who I would have gaged and hogtied on a chair and then stuck in the corner on several occasions, but all in fun 🤩. I love Ah Ro, she is beautiful, skilled, and well liked by everyone but the Queen & Princess. She is brave and knows what she has to do in order to survive as a Wonhwa girl warrior. The shrine she went to is her mother’s who was the first Wonhwa. Her father probably told her how her mother died. All because of the Queen’s envy. The Wonhwa who was pregnant when the Queen pierced her and the Baby (Sun Woo) moved. Which is why he faints every so often for no reason. The Q’s brother couldn’t sit on the throne because of his deformed legs, but his son would be the 1st heir to her unborn son.(Jinhueng/ JiDwi) Ah Ro can’t Die. That’s just too much for Sun Woo, he can’t have another die in his arms. Poor guy that’s enough painful sorrow already, give him some peace. TaeTae did great in this episode that death scene always makes me cry, the sobbing Hwarang’s gets me every time and that background music as Sun Woo carried him into the classroom and laid him down so gently. (I wanna cry now) Josh, Thanks for thé Raté upgrade! Loving it!

This is my first time watching this series, and I agree about Ah Ro. Even the crying doesn't bother me lol maybe it's a credit to the actress' skills

Hansung's death scene always breaks me, I couldn't stop crying. Tae did a great job, so well acted.

Well, what do you know, Sun Woo and Ji Dwi are actually cousins!!!!! Hahahha.. really tried not to spoil it for you guys in previous posts.. haha.. Anyway, I've watched Hwarang the third time with you guys. And this epic Hansung's death scene always makes me bawl no matter what. His character is really one that needs to happen to show the people that the Bone Rank system (or any caste system in the real world for that matter) is really screwed up. I love the king reveal especially.. haha.. aren't you excited now thinking how is this going to make Silla stronger.. wooooooo...

I have watched hwarang a total of three times and this is my fourth time watching it again with the both of you. Hansung's death always makes me emotional, he was one of my favorite characters and just how everything played out, it was truly one of the most emotional deaths I have seen. In order to show just how messed up the entire rank system is, it even relates to how the real world is. Hansung will always remain a special character for me and I will always remember everything this show has taught me.
