Gook Doo doesn't know about her being strong because she is actively trying to hide it from him and well, she doesn't really use her powers much. It is only this episode that she is saying that she wants to use them for the first time so I can't really blame him for that at least. Personally as I was watching the show, I didn't really care for Gook Doo, didn't hate him, didn't love him. But that was cause I had already picked the President as my favourite character lol. But I wasn't really bothered by his presence because I thought he provided good conflict for the love story, since President likes Bong Soon and Bong Soon likes Gook Doo, so every episode it was exciting to see if anything would change. Will Bong Soon start to notice President? Will President give up? Will Gook Doo make his move first? :D Exactly the type of drama I needed HAHA. I am curious to see if Josh will maintain this sentiment till the end or if he will soften and get used to him eventually as he watches the whole show :D

I really love watching you both discussing your own theories...💜💜💜And for Josh..im LMAO on your feeling for Gook Doo because i feel the same way for him....I dont like his character..And its already about 10x that i watch this show...and i still feel the same for him...And thats why i loved this show cause you will feel a different emotion..Goodluck to your bets...not gonna tell who wins..💜💜💜

I haven't seen this show before, and as much as I don't like Gook Doo, I think Josh might've just lost $100 lol.

I love your theories so much!! I will say that I had (until recently) a soft spot for the Ji Soo, the actor who plays the cop you hate because he is perpetually the second male lead who never gets the girl, so I never hated his character. BUT Gook Doo really is kinda the worst lol. This is one of my favorite rewatch dramas and even I can't remember if he lightens up because I always skip his scenes that don't involve the main leads. There are some really funny moments coming up involving him though without spoiling anything :) Love you both, I recently rejoined to watch dramas with you and this is the best. Thank you.
