To be honest I also thought that for sure they were going to get it this year but the Grammys were just being the scammys again and using them for views and I was also upset and kinda pissed how they didn’t get it but like articles have said BTS don’t need the Grammys but the Grammys need BTS although it would be awesome for BTS to have a Grammy but apart from that I just don’t understand as well how they didn’t get it out of all the the people nominated in that category BTS was the only actual group and was like the only song that actually broke records and stuff and was the song that was on the billboard hot 100 for #1 for the most weeks which is already something huge for BTS and also how they were only nominated for ONE category not even 2 like not even in song of the year which they should have also been nominated but just because there group the recording Academy decided to just nominate them for the group category and I also don’t know how they choose the winner but what I do know is that there decision of choosing a winner is dumb even other artist have claimed the Grammys to be messed up and saw that even artist like billie eilish didn’t win a Grammy yesterday Olivia Rodrigo won 3, Taylor swift didn’t win anything, doja cat won 1 and BTS didn’t win either like this year I saw a lot of people also say that they don’t really listen to BTS or anything but they should have won and taken that Grammy but I mean there’s nothing us as ARMY could do about and BTS, BTS worked hard no matter what, they don’t need a Grammy just for them to be called great or super they already conquered so many things like being the first Asian artist to win artist of the year at the amas the boys worked hard and whether having a Grammy or not doesn’t change anything or the fact that they are the biggest group in the world and are record breaking artist and breaking records constantly we love them no matter what! 💜 Also from the vlive I was on the vlive and when jimin popped the bottle of that’s when the vlive crashed and the whole app crashed I had to restart my phone because vlive wasn’t working and I guess we crashed the app because the other video posted it wasn’t live they just decided to post it and upload it since I think vlive wasn’t working so this 4 min video was the only live part but the other was just recorded and uploaded it but you know you could count it as a vlive 😆

Cait you can't be cheating on us like that. EVEN I WAITED FOR YOU GUYS TO WATCH THIS VLIVE TOGETHER. 🤣 I forgot to mention but their outfits during butter once they rip those jackets off really showed off their physique like hot damn. 👀❤️ I can't imagine how hard it must've been for the boys to practice without three other members knowing how close the schedules were getting. Definitely stressful! They said the video practice will be released soon for us to see so i'm interested to see. I also thought they were gonna come back and perform a second song because it seemed that's what the grammys were hinting towards but whatever. Seeing how bts hugged each other in the audience and gave each other high fives when they found out they didn't win made my heart a little sad. I'm trying to stay in the best of spirits. The boys practiced so hard to make such an amazing top tier performance for us and that's the best present we got for the night!! I'll forever remember how legendary it was. 💜 Their honesty with us is special. I'm assuming you guys seen the moment tae walked up to lady gaga to greet her right?? It's seriously the most wholesome interaction you'll ever see. You can tell tae has so much respect for her by just looking at his mannerisms while he's talking to her and the fondness just beaming from his eyes is so cute, makes me wanna cry. She was also giving such positive energy back to him and looked so warm the entire time while they were talking. The hugs, eye contact, everything was really sweet.

I don't think I knew how 'serious' Jin's finger injury was until I saw him with his cast and not able to perform fully at the Grammys. He did tell us on Weverse that we shouldn't worry and that he isn't feeling pain but... from what we've seen he's obviously feeling pain. I'm wondering how much it's going to affect their concert performance. Wish him a speedy recovery. And these 7 men are the most hardworking artists out there. All the things they went through just to stand on the Grammy stage... it's sad to see them not getting the trophy that they without a doubt deserved. But they try to stay positive, so we should do the same and keep supporting them. They won in ARMYs hearts💜

cait im literally with you on the way you felt like they had it this year. which before the grammys i had no hope but seeing how they moved their category to the main show & bts wasn't performing last and all these things i changed my mind and got my hopes up. josh i also don't feel as sad as i did last year, i feel more enraged because i just wanna know what box bts didn't make to win. (also cait i see you seen tae & lady gaga, his caption was so cute "my jazz queen" waiting for the collab.)

OF COURSE as ARMY, BTS deserve everything because of who they are, their talent, and their music. There are hundreds of thousands of testimonials from fans of how they found BTS music when they needed it (literally saving lives!) My grandma (the first ARMY in my family) cussed in Korean and English for about 30 minutes after the Grammys last night so right there with you Josh. But you got to remember that for the Grammy, it is the Recording Academy votes not numbers on chart (BBMA) and fan participation (AMA). And remember, the Grammy was an award show created by white middle-aged producers and engineers back 64 years ago. It took African American artists decades to breakthrough and to have Rap, Hip Hop, etc. to be a category. They separate out Latin artists and musicians to have their own Latin Grammys. I know we want results sooner but BTS has performed two years in a row and I actually want to see them contend with a full album and not just English singles. I want to see BTS nominated in more categories (song, record, album, artist, etc.) And as frustrating as the Grammys are, I hope BTS keep submitting themselves when they release albums and singles because there is such few Asian musicians (non-classical) and artists represented in mainstream American music industry. They are also paving their way for other K-pop artists to submit to the Grammy's as well and be truly considered. With the power of BTS and ARMY, it will surely happen in BTS long music career. ARMY got them Artist of the Year at the AMAs. (That's like if some non-Korean artist got Artist of the Year at the Melon Music Awards or Mnet Asian Music Awards!) I also have seen members of the recording academy (producers, sound engineers, etc.) reacting to BTS, discovering their B-sides and Korean Album and liking them more. As great as Dynamite and Butter are, it does not even begin to show off BTS' musicality, lyricism, producing abilities, and performance. Can you just imagine if they performed Black Swan or ON?

it is what it is .. I will never understand the requirements to win a grammy. It doesn't make sense . I did think they were going to get it a bit. Yeah they talked so much about bts and why did they put the award on main show . I kind of thought that since bang pd was also there they were going to get it. I mean I would NEVER blame the person who won . It just doesn't make sense. Also I'm just glad they performed I know they really wanted to do a performance.

i was almost sure it would happen this year. butter did so so so well on the charts, it’s still incredible how they didn’t get at least another nomination as well. i love doja cat and i am so happy for her, but at the same time i think the category is just all over the place as well. shouldn’t the focus in the duo/group category be actual duos/groups and not collaborations between solo artists? doesn’t seem fair to me.

so frustrated so looked it up and apparently the Recording Academy merged the Duo/Group and Collaboration into one category in 2012. Only 2 actual groups (Twenty One Pilots 2017 and Portugal The Man 2018) have actually won in this category since the merge. The songs that lost in those years are Despacito, Work by Drake and Rihanna, etc. I am so with you that didn't make sense then and still doesn't now...
