The last scene was Eun-tak's 2nd life, and she didn't drank the tea in her previous life, so she has all the memories from the past. Goblin is not aging, but she have 3 more life, so it means they can spend lot of time together. He gave up dying even his punishment has ended because he wanted to remain in this world and see her. I like this ending because it ended in not like HAPPY LOVE STORY but like SAD LOVE STORY(which what this series was all about). And clarifying literally everything is just not go with this series. In my case, showing Eun-tak meeting her mom and something like that was not that important in the story. I think they didn’t clarified everything to give that fantasy feel.

I also love Josh's suggestion of both the Goblin and his bride being reincarnated together and live normally as mortals - therefore the Goblin won't have to endure seeing his bride dying over and over again xoxo

I just knew there was gonna be such sadness before it was Happiness, but I am happy myself for the final ending. I really liked the script and need to find more dramas of the same writer and director. This was so good, no wonder it is so well praised and still available on Netflix and other Asisian TV apps.

When Euntak said "I found it" at the end, it can be seen that this is a preparation. When they first went to Canada, Eun-tak saw a goblin sitting near the tomb and lifted a dandelion seed and said, "I found it." This scene gives me goosebumps every time I see it. Just as the Grim Reaper and Sunny were reincarnated and met again, Eun-tak was reincarnated and came to meet the goblin again. She has three lives left, so she can be reincarnated further and continue her love with him. +)Some viewers also guess that Sunny and the Grim Reaper may have memories of their previous lives without drinking tea.

Finalllllllyyyyyy it's done! I was happy for whole time to see my favorite drama with you guys. Since this drama has uncommon storyline or ending, many people praised it, and still seem to watch it a lot. You may also think of this drama when winter comes. I recommended you to rewatch the drama personally in someday or binge watch the summary videos of the drama uploaded by Tvn on youtube. When goblin faced the dead Eun-tak at the teahouse, he shed so much tears. There were many people who liked the chemistry of the Grim Reaper role and Sunny's role in this drama, and they expected them to meet again in other dramas as the main character, not the supporting role. And in the drama 'Touch Your Heart' (2019), they met as the main characters.❤️ I recommend you to watch this drama, too!:)

I came here just to watch your final reaction to the finale and believe it or not, I have the same comment as Josh.. I actually gave this a 5/10 rating. Sorry for what I am about to say… I respect each of the comments. I guess we have our own preferences & opinions. The ending was not satisfying for me. It kinda resembles what I felt watching the Game of Thrones ending when everything plummeted after building the story up.(**spoiler alert). The story arc was incredibly good but I did not get the impact after. “The Dessert after a 5-Course Meal can change the whole dining experience”. Again, sorry for my comment. When the goblin first meets Euntak on a rainy day, he already saw the future of her(even her second life, that they meet at the last scene). Opening of the drama was giving us hint for the whole time!!🤭 I can't believe the writer already done this preparation from the first episode. Lol there was nothing romantic between the guy and the old guy, the Goblin sent him over there to help the old guy and as a result he will get a job, he basically made his wish come true. That's why the old guy said that maybe this was fate that they met because he new, and the guy that was fixing his car said that that's a romantic thinking. Hopefully this made since. And I understand what ur saying Josh, but I feel like this is the perfect ending. Because this whole shows concept is sad love, so their never really going to have a happy ending sadly. And her meeting her mom isn't important to the story, Eun Tak and the Goblins love story is important. 💜💜💜
