Oh man. I forgot how much i really really love this episode. 🥰🥰 They must have been WIRED for hours and hours after that. All that espresso. That would keep me up for days. Lol. I don’t like drinking straight espresso. It is way way too bitter and strong for me. When I was in The Ukraine (I went with my parents when I was 8 when we were adopting my sister) I tried some of the espresso and it was SO DAMN STRONG I thought I was gonna die. Lmao I do love me a good latte though. I have to have some sort of flavor component to it though. I don’t like just espresso and steamed milk. Also, so far no one has worn the Mang costume or the Tata costume! I would love that though!! Thanks for posting early! I really loved watching this with y’all. I hope you get to celebrate Taetae’s birthday at the cafes! I wish they did something like that around me. :( I sometimes feel like I’m the only army in Wisconsin. I know that statistically can’t be true, but it feels that way. Lol

when I make coffee I actually just heat up milk and don’t use any hot water and add sugar lol, I like mine sweet 😂 espressos are a no from me ahaha

Hi guys. It was so much fun re-watching this again. I remember how hard I was laughing at Taetae and Kookie. They're babies and just don't like bitter stuff. Tae especially is really funny he does the same face with spicy food and alcohol too. Also every time I watch this episode I am amazed again at Jimin just downing those espresso one after the other no break. Boy must have been swinging from the chandelier for the rest of the day. Because i usually drink my coffee long with milk I felt like it was gone too fast when I was in Italy so one day I drank 3 espressos with my morning sandwich at the cafe. When the jitters hit half an hour later I was like what have I done:)))))) Safe to say i walked half of Milan on foot that day I was so pumped !

Aww this was the first run episode I ever watched

I'm with Tae..love watching this episode but I don't drink coffee so I can't really relate to what's going on with the tasting part.. but seeing the boys enjoying learning about coffee makes me happy too.. what's not to gain with the extra knowledge about coffee right? Anyways, you were mentioning about RJ wearing a jacket or something.. the boys did mention once and made a joke out of it, RJ is a Alpaca with a Parka.. heheh.. trust time to get rhyming in even while describing their babies.

Josh, I think you drank the taro bubble tea it's really popular it's even my favourite flavor 😊 I'm not sure what flavors the boys like but they do drink bubble tea a lot

I thought Josh said it was sweet potato? Cld be wrong Anw both sweet potato & taro are yum and can be found in drinks in some asian countries

I loved watching this episode because it reminded me of my Seoul trip this past summer -- I was able to visit that coffee shop (it's called Cafe &Gather) and take a picture underneath that neon sign like Taehyung and Hobi!!

Im a manager at Starbucks, and ive worked there for 11 years. I can tell you people truly under estimate how hard it is to be a barista. Starbucks has around 70 drinks that need to be learned and mastered, while you are training. This does not include customer invented drinks, or the rotating seasonal drinks. Customers also request drinks that were discontinued from the main menu years ago, so it is a lot of memorizing. As far as the espresso goes, it is always fresh, the difference between the machines the boys were using and the ones you see at Dunkin, Starbucks, Dutch Bros and major coffee chains is that the machine does the grind/tampering automatically to increase speed. We go through around 115lbs of coffee a week at my location during the slow times and up to 200lbs during holidays or special events. If you want to watch your barista pull a shot so you can see the layers, i'd suggest ordering a caramel macchiato, the shots are required to be pulled into shot glasses and then layered on top of the beverage. Espresso shots have around a 10 second life span, you'll see the layers for 10 seconds, and after that youll notice the bottom layer (the heart) turn a dark black and than the entire shot will turn that dark color, and the crema at the top will disappear. If the espresso shot is not mixed into a beverage in that 10 second window it will become very bitter, and sometimes even have a burnt taste. If you've ever gotten your favorite drink and noticed that once or twice it tasted more bitter or even burnt it was because the espresso sat too long before being placed into the beverage. Also I heard you say at the beginning that your grandparents used to store coffee in the freezer. Don't do it! Never store coffee in the fridge/freezer, or in a cabinet with spices or strong food smells. Coffee is like a sponge, it absorbs aroma from what is around it, so if its in a fridge or freezer it will act like baking soda and start cleaning out the odors in the fridge and adsorbing it, the best thing is to store it in an air tight container away from food products that give off smells. Sorry if i rambled, I really love coffee and wish people would take more interest in learning about it, it has such a beautiful rich history!

Hi! I know you have watched this months ago now, but I only just got to watch this :) I don't know if you'll see this or if you've noticed this already, but 44:08 (when you see JM filming Jungkook) is actually the behind the scenes of a clip in JK's second Euphoria MV from Festa 2019. You probably remember this wholesome MV. It was called "Euphoria (DJ Swivel Forever Mix) - JK memories by BTS". Around 2:17 in the MV you can see the clip of JK in this barista outfit drinking coffee. Just wanted to point that out since I liked being able to know where clips of the MV came from :) It's cool that we know the context of a lot of the clips in the MV: from RUN episodes, Jacket shootings, MV Boy With Luv, Euphoria MV, Bon Voyage3, the time Jimin and JK went to watch Avengers during tour, Dionysus practice on stage, et cetera. These are truly precious memories, and it's nice that we somehow were a part of them and the Euphoria MV too because they chose a couple of clips that we could recognise. Also on a little sidenote, it's awesome that they want to capture their memories and so often take pictures of videos.
