One of my favorites, honestly. It was such a fun episode 💜💜💜

The reason they pronounced roller coaster and skate like that is because they're saying it in korean. And they are pronouncing 1 korean syllable at a time.

Cheyenne

The whole carbonara thing was actually referenced in the second episode of bon voyage while they were ordering their dinner. x'D Jimin's facial expressions are just too cute. :'D

essi

Thumb and finger is the same as scissors by the way. You'll see them use that a lot in paper scissors rock.

Cheyenne

My favourite episode of run is 69, 70, and 71. It's a three part series and is literally like a mini bon voyage. I love it so much and seeing the boys together like a family is always fun and cute to watch. <3 I'm a huge sucker for wholesome content like that. I won't say anything more than that because spoilers. This episode is a close favourite as well. :') They should do another challenge like this in the future.

Guys, lachimolala is synonym to ARMY only.. this is the epitome of inside jokes that no one outside the fandom can relate..

For vlive+ I think you can only do a monthly subscription. Mine is monthly but I have it set to automatically renew. Check your settings and see if you can change to automatic renewal.

they're not saying the words in English. just like English has a lot of words from French, Korean has a few words from English but its still in their language. also I know u speak English only but try to remember that they're not saying the English words. just bc a word is hard in English doesn't mean it is in Korean. and words that sound similar in Korean most likely do not sound similar in English. when they do these games its important to also hear what THEY are saying (just a tip so u won't be so confused)

essi

Very true! A lot of reactors don't seem to notice. You need to read the subtitles but also try to listen to the sounds they make. Most of the time they were veeery close to getting the phrases right, but tiny changes mean the whole thing is different

Here's some tips to help you guys in the future for games like these: I know this was hard for you guys, but I think its really confusing when you take the translated english you see and cannot put together the hints. You must remember that they're using Korean hints and the answer is in Korean, not English. There were a few english ones though. For example: They got Americano because Jin drew a picture of the united states and then put an X beside it. So the picture read America + No = Americano. BUT, for the most part, when you see these games, the translated answers wont add up to the pictures you see because the answer to them is in Korea. So for example one of the answers was Noonchi Game. Jin draw a picture of an EYE ("noon" in korean) + angry stick man ("chi" in korean is like showing pissed off attitude) + Game controller (game is a borrowed word in Korean). Noonchi Game is a popular Korean childrens game. :)

Ok for the headphone game. Rollercoaster is a borrowed english word. However it's not possible to write it exactly as it's pronounced in english in the Korean language. Certain sounds dont exist in Korean. For example "er" doesnt exist. Also, you cannot connect consonants in Korean like the "st" sound. There has to be a vowel break in between. So rollercoaster is written as 롤러 코스터 (Pronounced: Rol - leo - ko - seu - teo in Korean). That's the way Koreans pronounce this word and it's the only way they will guess correctly. The words they say must be said in their languages pronunciation. A better way to explain is to imagine that you're deaf and had to lip read. If you know english, you will only be able to lip read English. If someone speaks french, you wouldnt be able to correctly guess what theyre saying since the mouth shapes will be different. It's the same with Korean. :)

I seriously watch this whisper challenge when I feel down or simply not in the mood, and I start laughing RIGHT AWAY! This is a classic! Jimin's "Lachimolala" is one of the biggest insider joke in the fandom hahaha like only deep in the rabbit hole armys knows the meaning of that and recently we found out in bon voyage 4 that the boys joke about it too hahahaha jimin's face is truly sooo adorable and funny at the same time hahahah.

nikki

Oh and during rock paper scissors at the end where jimin's gesture was like a gun, that gesture is also used for scissors. They use it all the time so just an fyi so you wont get confused whenever you see it.. :)

This episode is LEJINDARY! Jin’s hidden talent lol. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this whisper game... but I still laugh when I watch it. And every time I see or hear about carbonara I think of this episode.

I was going to do some explaining but it seems everyone has covered things pretty well. I hope you guys will read these comments about korean language and the ones on the previous run episode and further educate yourselves especially since they do alot of these games that dont translate properly or will leave you confused if you dont know much about korean/hangul in future episodes too. i have to admit, i get kind of frustrated hearing you say you dont get how their drawing hints make sense at all, when it makes perfect sense in their language, you are just looking at translations that will not match the picture because of language difference. but this is a learning process and armys in the comments are here to help as always. ok sorry that was long. thanks for the upload as always!

Lucy

omg you guys switched sides, I knew something looked different 😂

Lucy

What they are saying doesn’t sound the same in English but does sound the same in korean so you need to listen to the pronunciation too :)

Liz

So I know this isn't something you normally do, but you guys should react to both parts of Jin's birthday VLive. It is just so heartwarming. :)

moonglow

I wish you'd watch some of their bday vlives. Jin's most recent one was hilarious and they're always fun to wacth ^^

Liz

Do you teach Korean cause..if you don't you'd be bomb at it!

when you guys point out that maybe they play this game to enhance their teamwork and their brain to react quickly and also help them with their synchronization I thought I'm the only one who sees it that way

36:20 In the game of rock, paper, scissors, Jimin played scissors. Koreans sometimes express scissors with their thumbs and index fingers like that.
