Hey everyone this episode was so emotional so far. I just love how all of them are so close to each other. Sorry we split the episode in 2 parts hopefully you understand. I think its so funny how tae always changes his name lol Seeing him drive to boat was too cute!! Love you all for enjoying these special episodes with us.

I feel like Letters = BTS because they always do this. Haha. It's very fun and emotional though, watching them write letters for each other.. Not just letters but when they describe and talk about each members.. They truly know each other better than anyone.

In Korean culture, they only say "friends" when you are the same age. This has a deeper meaning behind it in which you are only allowed to talk casually with someone of your same age. If someone is older than you, it is only polite if you speak to them with honourifics. It is expected that you listen to and respect someone older, even if it's only by a year. For example, Yoongi has to speak to Jin with honourifics even though they are very close in age, only because Jin is born the year after. Therefore, when Yoongi said he was envious of Hoseok + Namjoon and Taehyung + Jimin, it is because those 2 pairs are the same aged friends in BTS. They are able to confide in each other very casually :) Bts is already very different compared to the typical Koreans though, considering Jin as the oldest has the most authority but he doesn't use it often. He only uses it jokingly sometimes, for example telling Yoongi not to interrupt him when he's speaking. This is also the cause of the inside joke, "Jin is the only person who can put Suga in his place". If Jin become serious and chooses to use his age as an authority, the other members would have to listen out of respect. This is one of the biggest differences between Korean and American culture

If you're wondering, yes the younger members of bts all uses honourifics when speaking to the older members. Since both of you aren't familiar with Korean sentence structure, I can only give a brief explanation. Basically most of the time if you hear them end a sentence with "yo", it's the honorific sentence structure

All their letters were beautiful, but tae’s letter to jimin makes me cry every single time.. Tae is not very vocal about his feeling so seeing him openly tell jimin how much their friendship means to him, i cried so much

This episode is so emotional and my absolute favorite episode of BV. I love that they (even though they think it's a bit cringy) are serious about it and are sincerely writing and listening to their letters. And omg Tae was so nervous before reading his letter to Jimin - their friendship is truly amazing💜

I love this episode so much. This episode shows us how real they are as people. In the past celebrities are just this idealistic notion of famous people with talent.. but with BTS, we can actually see them as people, like us with relationships, with thoughts and emotions as real as us.. their heartfelt letters to each other are examples of how they value one another, cherishing each other’s existence in their lives. I bet we ourselves sometimes don’t do this sort of thing to our friends or family. I cry every time watching this episode without fail. I remember watching the first time and realising that these boys are different from any celebrities .. they are as real as any one of us. And I love them for that.

I have never seen in my life any pure and loving friendship that tae and jimin have like their bond is like no other they truly are soulmates and are those people who are like your "ride or die" ( that you will “ride” ANY problems out with them or “die” trying). They seriously tend to each other needs the most even when the cameras don't show it they even say that behind cameras there are things that they as friends like to keep personal to them and so it shows how loving they are towards each other even wanting to grow old together. overall bts are such a loving group of people they all have love and good thoughts they want to share with each other and Army. I also have mad respected for them when they are willing to share their vulnerabilities with us:)

Remember the video that a lot of armys are requesing for you over and over to react? That Vmin Moments I think about a lot? This clip of Tae reading his letter to Jimin was included there. It was not a cringy shipping video but was a really heartwarming one that shows their friendship. I hope you were able to watch that video, not to react, just watch it on your own. It'll give you a lot more insight why Tae and Jimin are literally soulmates.. :')

oh yes let the tears come... i always get teary eyed at Tae's letter ... (and really all the letters are so cute) but to witness the love they have for each other is the most inspiring thing and what makes them so different from any others band or musician out there.

This is one of my favorite epi of this season. Like even though they are always together they don't really take the time to tell each other how they feel about each other. And so when the crew makes them take the time, we get beautiful scenes like this. Tae is such a softie though. I'm glad that they do the letters though because I think it goes a long way to cement the bonds that the boys have.
