Hey everyone this was an awesome video! the scenery was amazing when they were on top of that mountain. Like Namjoon said it looked like a sea of clouds. The bowling game looked like a lot of fun, kinda reminded me of a run episode. Love this season so far its been so good. Cant wait to watch more.

This season takes place in 2017 so yes it’s before Promise. And Suga is talking about Tony Montana which he said that he’s forming a unit with Jimin. Hope this info helps! Feels great to rewatch Bon Voyage which you guys!

Another thing worth mentioning is that the staff or whoever does the subtitles for BTS are so shady with it which cracks me up all the time. It's not just with Bon voyage but run episodes as well 😂😂

Just to let you know, the lady at the restaurant didn’t choose the most expensive one for Jimin. She suggested a dish that has all the good local breakfast food. That way he can have a taste of everything.

Also, a Loco Moco is a dish with rice topped with a hamburger patty, fried egg and brown gravy. It’s very good!!! ☺️

Cait is so me doing this reaction and josh just being to whipped for jimin to read subtitles is hilarious lol . Promise is way later .. jimin was working on promise during season 3 BV. I love this season but I think my favorite is season 3 can’t wait till u get to that one ! Great job guys 💜

When they say they want Jimin to release a solo project, they’re talking about the songs they release for free on SoundCloud (at that time the vocal line mostly did covers while RM and Suga had free mixtapes, Jhope had a solo song, 1verse but he hadn’t released his mixtape yet). So even though Lie was already released at that time (Wings album, 2016), they wanted Jimin to release a cover or original free song. Thankfully now they have Promise, Scenery, and Tonight.

I love this season of BV. I went to Hawaii and seeing BTS at some of the same places I've been is such a treat. I don't know why seeing them order food at Ken's is so cute too. I forgot that Kookie had such bad luck this trip too. Also getting to see the start of Jin's interactions with strangers is hilarious. And yup Joonie can always be found looking for crabs and Yoongi taking naps.

FUN FACT: My family actually took a vacation to Hawaii last summer, and we went to the Big Island. Last year I actually had not seen Bon Voyage S1, 2 or 3, I didn't watch it until like december of last year so when I finally watched S2 (this episode specifically) I really enjoyed it so much more because I had personally seen Akaka falls like they did. Seeing the falls through the video made me remember myself personally seeing it. They also talked about Kens House of Pancakes where my family got breakfast one morning. I just thought it was so cool knowing that my family vacation & the places we chose to visit were places that BTS had once been before but I never knew it. Watching this season of Hawaii really was the most fun for me after experiencing Hawaii myself. Haha sorry for my lil rant I thought id share this little fun fact! Too bad patreon doesnt have a share image function lol i would love to show you some pics I took! Long story aside I loved this video !

I lived in Hawaii for a couple a couple of years so I know what a loco moco is. The gravy is so good!

Everyone already explained what loco moco is. I love that food. Makes me want one. Also yakult is a yougurt drink. Josh mentioned the red woods. Yes! Definitely go someday. I've been and its so gorgeous and unbelievable. I was in awe. The trees are huge! And to think there were even bigger ones before they were chopped down way back.

Yakult is a delicious probiotic fermented milk of different flavours that kids and adults alike love to drink. It helps with improving digestion and builds immunity. Asian countries are very familiar with Yakult. It’s particularly interesting when Jimin mention that a lady will go around selling it in a cooler from house to house and he would purchase it to drink. Here, we also have the same method but it’s more like she delivers weekly supply and we buy them in bulk. You’re supposed to drink once a day. You mention the brand Yakult over here, most people knows what drink it is.

Very true. I grew up drinking Yakult in Southeast Asia. It’s good for digestive health. It’s so Asian. I still stock up Yakult in my fridge here in Canada. You can take a person away from Asia but you can’t take Asia away from a person

Really late to this video, but something i've noticed is that you guys seem to think a lot of these videos are a lot more recent than they actually are. And I get that, it can be confusing working out the timeline, but you keep mentioning more recent albums and songs in reference to a video filmed in 2015/16ish. Back during BV2, it was around the Not Today/Spring Day era, hence the opening song and some of the songs used in the episodes.
