Today we're celebrating Namjoon! Our leader. 💙💜 Ohhh this makes me really happy that you're listening to it and reading the lyrics at the same time. 😊 I miss the days when you did that. Namjoon went SOMEWHERE ELSE with this album and it's quite interesting. The sound is nothing like i expected. "Feeling high on a forest fire" i don't think it's what you're thinking of. 😂 You do know that weed is illegal in south korea and could quite possibly end your entire career and ruin your reputation if you're caught using it. You can end up in prison so it's a BIG no no. How i understood the lyric was basically he's high on the negativity that people are feeding him. He's eating up the hate and rising above the flames, getting high on the forest fire of chaos. That's why you can hear him shouting: "Get the f**k outta my sight" and tons of other random bickering audio in the background.. whether that be him imitating what others say to him or him telling haters to back off. What i do know is that namjoon does smoke cigarettes after he accidently outed himself. During the song out of love i was surprised to hear him mention the smoking incident and the thoughts that people have about idols smoking in general. He's talking that ISH and isn't letting the judgment or bullshit get to him. It's his life and he can live it however he wants. He's not perfect. I got major cypher vibes from groin and out of love. Namjoon dealt with a lot of pressure and ridiculous situations recently so this album feels like a release of those emotions and frustrations and i love seeing that come out in an art form. This album was fresh. And as namjoon said: "You can f**k my body but you can't f**k with my mind." Crazyy. The instrumentals during nuts thooo omgggg. Cait you catching the line: "The monster hasn't been me" and linking it to rap monster. GIRLLLL i didn't even realize that! AHAHAHA. My favourite tracks so far: Come back to me, around the world in a day, nuts, heaven, and groin. Domodachi creeps me out a bit. 🤣 There's a ton of voices and noises going on at once during the chorus. It's so unique. The name itself reminds me of tomodachi which is the Japanese word for friends. The lyrics during some of these tracks are hard to understand and i'm sure there's way more meanings behind them that are completely going over my head.. knowing namjoon and his brilliant mind, so i can't wait for more accurate interpretations to come out.
