It's sad that they drift apart after they lost the baby for lack of communication. For her to cope with the miscarriage it was more easy to get rid of everything from the nursery, but she didn't think about his grief. He needed time to grief the lost of their child. We know it's harder on the mother when they miscarriage, but it's also hard on the father, and people often has the tendency to forget that the father also loses the baby. And also the fact that she let her family bully him and did nothing ( even if she defended him after, but it was behind his back ) and she also mistreated him.
