Honestly, I think Ji-na shouldn't be with either of the guys. Hyun-gyu hurt her a lot and still hasn't really learned all he needs to be in a successful relationship. Joo-ik (aka snape hahah) literally took the opportunity away from Ji-na to meet Hyun-gyu again when they were younger and through that, took the opportunity from her to actually have closure - which she didn't get and which made her pine after Hyun-gyu for 9 years (!!!) - and all that for what, jealousy (?) - he didn't even know her back then, but still felt entitled enough to say "oh, I need to kiss her, so that she leaves and doesn't meet Hyun-gyu, because I know that thats what's best for her, even though I have never even spoken to her before and am a total stranger to her". And yes, he was young as well back then, but he still doesn't see how f-ed up that was even as an adult! (That's why personally I like him less than Hyun-gyu - at least Hyun-gyu realized his mistakes and tries to own up to them - even though he does that in very strange ways in this episode that I don't really appreciate) And well, even if one of them were actually a good fit for a relationship, I'd still think she needs to be single for a bit. We are talking about a girl who didn't get over her high school boyfriend, who was admittedly an asshole, for 9(!!!!) years - thats not healthy!!! She needs to be by herself for a bit, learn how to form healthy attachments, before getting into any new relationship (and that new relationship should definitely not be with either of the guys who are after her right now) I thought that Dong-gyung leaving was emotionally understandable, but logically didn't make sense. Because her leaving to save the people she loves is already an act of love - which is exactly what she's trying not to do. I love that Doom finally managed to get her to open up, she really needed to let those emotions out for once and admit that she isn't okay. Oh, just a little reminder, Doom never said that he is physically incapable of feeling emotions - he said he DECIDED a long time ago, that he wouldn't feel - because it hurt too much, to know that everything he does would bring Doom. He didn't want to feel that, so he shut all of those things aways, to protect himself from that pain. But we have seen him be emotional from episode 1 - he has been angry with god, he was happy when Dong-gyung wished for Doom, he cried in the flashback when we saw him at god's funeral, we see him madly in love with Dong-gyung now, ... - all of those emotions are real and have always been there, the difference is, that he actually allows himself to feel them now instead of pushing them down again. Someday I'll manage to leave a comment thats only a sentence or two, instead of a whole page hahahah Still loving the re-watch with you guys, really love to see you enjoy this show as much as you do and enjoy hearing your thoughts on things. I'm really happy you guys started watching it! Not really sure what time of day it is for you right now (I live in central europe), but depending on the time of day I hope you have a great rest of your day or a good night! (Obviously, same goes for anyone reading this comment!)

Hi guys how are you? Although I get Cait's point regarding the love triangle and the fact that she didn't let him say more than to phrases about the past, but you have to see her point of view, if she didn't went after him at the gym back then to have an explanation from him about the break up, he would've left too Japan without even talked to her. I understand that in his mind because he was leaving to study abroad he thought it would be better too let her go, but he didn't sit with her to explain everything, so through her eyes and feelings she was abandoned without a reasonable explanation.
