ANIMATION - Alice's Intermission (Patreon)

Searching a seemingly abandoned tavern for precious loot, this knight lets his guard down and makes no match against the great monster lord Alipheese Fateburn XVI.

The sixth Patreon animation, and second with sound.
With what was meant to be a short animation, ended up almost being another five minutes long.

I'm not the biggest fan of this animation. Even though it's almost five minutes long, it feels shorter than Sierra's Ceremony. Mostly due to the longer intro, and the animation doesn't really hold on certain shots for as long as it should.

I will say, from now on, I'm going to tone it back with the "intro" sequences. Since Surrender to Suu, I've been creating longer and longer intros to add context to the rest of the animation.
I think it's become too much, ultimately taking away from the length and quality of the rest of the animation. Introduction sequences will either be much shorter, cutting to the chase quicker, or become non-existent. As my first animations had just a short camera-pan while the "Elasid" ident appears, then it was straight into the action.

Very important update, I'm changing the way I schedule my work.
When I created Sierra's Ceremony, I was able to start work on the actual animation from as early as the 6th of December, because I already had all the assets I needed.
Alice's Intermission, however, required me to spend a couple of weeks gathering models and assets - rigging Alice's new model and other components. Meaning that I was only able to start work on the actual animation itself around the 19th! Essentially meaning, that I had to animate triple time. Affecting me and the quality of my work.
From now on, I will be hosting two 48 hour polls, each for the next two months animations. The first month will propose animations using assets I already have, while the second month will propose assets and characters I have yet to create.
This helps me space out my work, giving me more time to create month two's assets while I animate month one. And allowing me to start work on month two much sooner - repeat every couple of months.
These two polls are scheduled to post later today, one hour from each other.
