Cutting off our noses to spite our faces. In speaking with several commissary managers in my area over the past 3 years they have been warning that the commissaries are in deep trouble and could face closures due to noncompetitive pricing. The flags we fly, the uniforms we wear, the equipment. used on military bases - "made in China". We don't make anything anymore. Due to the financial issues the commissaries have been having, I would propose playing the China Card is likely the government's excuse for a graceful exit to excuse the eventual closure of commissaries and probably exchanges soon to follow - all due to Our, not China's fiscal irres

Don't forget to seal your butter in zipper bags, preferably doubled, to prevent it from picking up odors in the fridge. Butter is really susceptible to doing that and ruining the taste.
