One more step, need to sort out my freezer, dehydrate or can some items in there and the restock it with meat. Also solar camping lanterns from hybridlite and Aptek on the way.

We have been in the same exact place. We own an acerage, an orchid, livestock, a butcher shop, and while a bunch of the money we had was through our corporate account. But my wife has her bachelor's in accounting so we figured how to diversify into income that are still money makers for us. We bought a larger freezer for our shop. A 16x14 stand alone freezer that allowed us to triple our output by having more storage. Then we bought a food wagon and pickup to pull it. A very handsome food wagon fully equipped. Owning a butcher shop means i have the ability to get raw products in and make finished products to sell. Plus our orchard is where we get fruit for our pies and kolaches. Buying the wagon and freezer ment literally tons of storage fpr more flour, sugar, rice, noodle ect to make money on. But better yet i have all that prep food being rotated and resupplied through our business. Literally 1,000s of pounds of dry goods. Last we bought 80 acers of pasture to help offset feed cost with hay/pasture for the cattle we own, and bring through our shop for incom. The big packers absolutely rape the cattleman on pricing. But i evaded that financial bend over by owning my owning the butcher shop. Weve taken Rudys advice 4 years ago and paid everything off. From there we were able to build up, spend, build up and spend. Only once taking a modest loan for 5 months since the land was a now or never thing. My advice, buy recession proof ways to make income that is a hobby/passion of yours
