I think we need to be cautious about only addressing the rich as the beneficiaries of the propped up stock market. Anyone with a 401k or other investments are also benefiting from this as well. When/if the market tumbles, our seniors and near seniors are in big trouble. The reason most are invested there is that there really is nowhere else to put their savings. This isn't like the pre depression and great depression tumbles that were more based on greed and people buying on margin. Certainly personal debt may be considered greed, which wasn't as great a factor then as now. There will always be those taking advantage of others on a great scale as well as small scale. I'll bet we have as many scoundrels in our communities as there are global scoundrels. Thank you Brother!😊😊

Scott, if you are concerned about short term volatility in the Stock Market, you can pull your 401K funds out and put them into a sweep fund or a money market account temporarily. Often, a trustee will say "don't pull your money out of the account" and what they mean is don't take a distribution, but you can pull your funds out of the market for a while.
