Hello believe, I would continue to prep because it is the right thing to do, in my opinion, if it causes much friction to bring it up then don't and just continue to prep. I would also use opportunities as they arise to maybe plant some seeds in their heads as to why it is so important to prep. Many blessings to you and your Family.

These farmers will not just be back online like nothing happened. This is just one case with the potential to effect our future food supply for years to come. Everyone should start learning how to grow some of their own food while the pressure to do so is still low. Also, keep putting away your own personal backup food reserve for the hard times ahead.

As a crop farmer, I can tell you that those huge grain store metal bins cost upwards of a million dollars each to build, not counting the stored crops, mostly corn, that were destroyed. Those farmers will NOT get the federal money help they need to rebuild. That's not counting the barns, houses, etc. I feel TERRIBLE for these people!
