Hi Neel, about the training. No, even if E rank trains really hard he can not physically (or in magic) become stonger than D rank. But he can learn martial arts, or use his abilities wiser (strategy, practice) to fight better. And then he might get a chance to beat the D rank.

Basically, when you awaken your gain both mana and physical strength. Even if you never go to a gym in your life or do any hard work, awakening high rank would let you lift heavy item with ease and run for hours without getting tired. That why you can't physically get stronger after awakening. The only way to improve, is through experience and learning something like martial art and buying better gear.
