Just FYI by the time S3 releases there will be 3 recap episodes of Slime. On Crunchyroll they are EP. 24.5 of Season 1 "Veldora's Journal", EP. 24.9 of S2 "Digression: Hinata Sakaguchi" and on April 1st "Diabolo's Diary" should come out. As I personally haven't watched them I don't know whether it would be better to watch those recaps or watch a youtuber recapping stuff. Just wanted to tell you in case you aren't aware of it.

Slight spoiler, but not really at this point since you have seen all of them by now. There are seven primordial demons. As you mentioned, they are Yellow, White, Violet, Black, Red, Blue, and Green.

Ep 24.5 and 24.9 have already come out and have been available on Crunchyroll for years.... In terms of new releases (which I believe you are talking about) I have heard Diablo's Diary will be released on March 31, a Season 1 recap will be released on April 3, season 2 recap on April 4, and the first episode of season 3 will be April 5. these recaps released on April 3 and 4 will be different from previous recaps with newly recorded narration. I am unsure if they will be uploaded to Crunchyroll depending on the country you are viewing from, but I am sure they will be viewable somewhere online.

Same as the movie, these OVAs are anime originals. Meaning they are not storylines from the source material (the light novels) however, they do not contradict anything in the light novels so they are 'anime canon'. I can assure you it will NOT be important to the story moving forward.

I believe you are talking about English releases of the LN because they have already released Vol 21, and I believe either 22 or 23 will be the final volume. And no, season 2 ends at the end of LN Vol 6, not Vol 8. Season 3 will pick up at the beginning of Vol 7. Can I ask where you got your information from so I can avoid it?

I have the physical books of the light novel. In the point of ending on book 6 you are correct I forgot that I had read a bit of the manga before the light novels and I got the 8 from where I left off the manga to thr light novel. But in book 17 of the light novel the author himself says he plans to only have 3 more books and even says what part they will each be covering.

If you have read the light novels then you know that it has almost become a running joke that Fuse (the author) always mentions how he underestimates how much he’s going to write. Daniel is correct, they have already released volume 21 in Japan, 22 has yet to release, and at some point additional novels based on the extra stories from the web novels will be written
