I assume that the reference to himmel's death is to mark the beginning of her new journey that she's on.

I agree that dub is really good, but if ur still gonna watch sub, at least when u get to episode 9 after watching "that moment" in sub (you'll know what I'm talking about because it's fire asf) watch it in dub it sounds even cooler

the tone of voice is perfect wdym, it perfectly imitates frierens carefree calm mind that she always has, stark sounds great and it perfectly demonstrates his emotion, and fern sounds exactly like you would imagine her to sound, its also a positive not having to read the sub as you can immerse yourself so much more into it

I tried to watch the first ep in ENG dub and i physically recoiled from the voice. Might just be me but once i hear the carefully chosen voice from the original VA everything else is like sandpaper on my ears.

I agree, plus all of their sentences sound extremely unnatural in order to take the same amount of time to say things as they do in Japanese. It makes it sound like they're speaking in a high school play. None of it sounds right or smooth at all compared to the original. I really wonder what others see in it.

everyone has their own personal preference. unless i recognize english VA's i usually stick with sub but i will give both a fair try and compare them.
