tutorial suggestions! (Patreon)

hi guys! °ʚ(*´꒳`*)ɞ°
i hope you all are doing fine during these days - i myself have a very heavy heart for the current situation in ukraine and i'm trying to catch every single bit of unbiased information i can find to stay informed.

i've been chatting with some of you guys in the last weeks and the super kind @fahrradsattel reminded me i actually had some tutorials planned for patreon!

while i'm already working on a miniserie of video tutorials exploring my full art process in each of its steps, i wanted to know if anyone was curious about how i approach a specific thing when drawing.
they'd be short videos or illustrative written tutorials, so i can't focus on big parts of the process (ex.: shading), but i'll be more than glad to explain how i approach smaller steps on the art (ex.: eyes, hair, skin, fashion, etc).

let me know if you have any suggestions!

I definitely find myself wondering how you come up with so many of the small details you include in your work (such as different accessories, decorations, etc) and how you decide where they should go. I'm also curious on how you decide how to approach the wrinkles in the clothing. I'd also love to know how you approach backgrounds. I find it hard to think of how to even begin with these things and I love them so much in your work.

I feel like how to approach backgrounds would be the most helpful for me personally. I know a lot of others struggle with that as well, so that might be the best to start with!

Hair shading would be so amazing 🥺 I never know what I’m doing right or wrong with hair and I just feel like it always looks bad, but I adore the way you shade hair and would greatly appreciate getting to see your process and maybe learn a little!

oh, i would love to know where you get your inspo from, or how you implement them in your drawings and such. what i would also love to see is how you do all the detail(?) in your drawings, for example, the burberry patterns in those cute skirts you draw, or how you do metalwork. (it could also just be traditional stuff, like studies on clothing folds, metal and mech stuff, things im HARDCORE struggling on haha)

i actually don't use gradient maps! i'll show a process of how i edit my art, but it's just color curve manouvering!
