High Seas

Trireme

Triremes are exceptionally quick in the water due to the three banks of oars situated below the main deck. Although not suitable for long distance travel at sea, they are ideal warships in a pre-cannon age as their speed and manoeuvrability makes them strategically superior, and their prow ram can easily pierce and sink enemy ships. The upper deck is a flat platform designed for fighting and quick boarding of other vessels.

Atakebune

The Atakebune is a floating fortress. Its outer hull is plated with thick bronze and steel making it impervious to most attacks, artillery fires out unimpeded from every angle and its upper deck is twice the height of most vessels giving it a significant advantage in combat. More than 100 crew can comfortably fit on the ship and all are also highly trained as soldiers.

This particular ship has been marauding the coastline for months, firing on port towns and halting all sea faring traffic. None of the local navy’s ships can get close without being sunk. The admiral is looking for an elite team to sneak aboard the ship, take out its general, and blow up the gunpowder cache in the hold.

Into The Wilds

Caves 02 - Smuggler's Hideout

This cave system has been taken over by a group of smugglers and pirates to use as a hideout and base of operations. There is some evidence that the cave was once used by some sort of cult as a place of religious worship, but they are long since gone. All that remains are broken statues and a crumbling chapel.

Thestwick Watch Exterior Scene

Thestwick is Alderham Fen’s southernmost population centre. Beyond it lies 20 more miles of murky marshland. Somewhere in this stretch of fen lies the border with Talmouth, a far wealthier duchy. The exact location of this border is occasionally disputed, but as it sits somewhere in an unliveable marsh, the two duchies mostly ignore the unclear border.

However, the new Duke, Fandry I, was so concerned that the Talmouth knights would attempt to annex his worthless marsh that he erected the Thestwick Watch, an enormous stone garrison. Its Commander, Sir Ranulf, and his Squire Kenric have been posted to the Watch along with a garrison of soldiers to maintain the border and patrol the surrounding fens.

A venerable dwarf with a thick grey beard, Lodbrook VII carries the weight of leadership
in his weary eyes. Clad in ceremonial garb that bears the marks of many a commemorative ceremony, he sits with a quiet dignity that commands respect.

Nassi Laguzol

Nassi is the youngest member of the guild to have ever been promoted to Wheelwright, due to his keen mind. He has already designed many improvements and upgrades. However, Nassi believes his biggest contribution is yet to come

Gears of Treason by Alex LeFort - 11th -13th Level Adventure

The grand council chambers of the dwarven city of Bharzul have become a deadly maze. Brinerot for 5e & PF2E

Brinerots are thought to be formed as a byproduct of pollution flowing from cities on the waterfront, but little is known about the actual mechanics of bringing one to life. Many have remarked on their similarity to the black tar used to seal the hulls of boats, but any correlation is subject to heavy speculation. Some have even jokingly suggested they're formed as the result of excrement from particularly powerful wizards, but little has ever been proven when it comes to their origins. What is known is that they roam the sea and shores looking for any it can devour to feed its ever present hunger.

Deckhand’s Dance for 5e & PF2E

Watching the machinations of a well run ship can almost be like watching a well choreographed dance as deckhands flit about up and down their rigging. The rocking and swaying of the ocean waves seemingly is not a problem for their well seasoned sea legs. It’s not all experience though as some of them have a trick up their sleeve, and on their feet, in the form of magicked boots that have been altered with retractable spikes on the soles for just the right amount of grip when you need it.
