Background

The Ungrimst farm seems to have been targeted, similar to their home in the centre of town. Most buildings in Ostenwold have sustained some form of damage, but generally they are still standing and the interiors largely untouched.

Whoever did this knew where they were going and was either in a hurry or just had no concern for minimising damage. A path of total destruction leads to the family heirlooms that were hidden in the basement below the house, all of which have been taken.

Design Notes

Farmhouse Ruins Ground Floor

• 01 – Vegetable Patch – The plot is overgrown and filled with weeds, suggesting it has been some time since the disaster in Ostenwold occurred.
• 02 – Hatch – Leads down to (10)
• 03 – Collapsed Entrance – The entire front section of the house has collapsed, as though the front wall was blown out from under the roof.
• 04 – Living Room – Most of the floor of the room has been destroyed, revealing the basement below.
• 05 – Stairs– Leads down to (10)
• 06 – Children’s Bedroom
• 07 – Master Bedroom
• 08 – Storage Shed
• 09 – Secret Entrance – A trapdoor here led down to the secret chamber in the basement. The trapdoor and floor have been completely destroyed, exposing the chamber below.

Farmhouse Ruins Basement

• 10 – Basement Store – Previously used to store dried produce, tools and general items. The floor and roof above have caved in, exposing the basement to the open sky. Stairs to the east and west, lead up to (05) and (02)
• 11 – Drink Cellar – Many of the bottles and kegs of beer and wine have been smashed or looted, but a few remain.
• 12 – Hidden Tunnel – No longer hidden, this tunnel has been blown apart.
• 13 – Heirloom Vault – This hidden room once housed the Ungrimst family heirlooms. They seem to have been the target of the attack and have all been taken. An opening in the ceiling in the northeast corner up leads to (09)
• 14 – Cell – It is unclear why there is a hidden cell below the farmhouse, but the wall has been destroyed, so anyone who was trapped inside has been freed.
