how many times are your players going to run into Baphomet? In 40+ years of gaming I ran into Orcus once, but never Baphomet. But, I have see carrion crawlers in near every dank dungeon.

Exactly why carrion crawler's are the best monster here. The utility and functionality of it is incredible.

I think Kuo-Toa is under rated. I'm making a scenario where a chest is in a known location where two rivers meet and kuo-toas guard it.

Baphomet, yay! I realize it's a "rarely used" monster of course, but no-one else has made a decent Baphomet token. I'm sure Splattered Ink will knock it out of the park!
