This is the first map in a short series of 'Frontier Town' maps that will all fit together to form a complete 'wild west' style street battlemap. This town will need a name so leave your name ideas in the comments below!
Background
The Deadeye was among the first buildings constructed as part of the new town and is in an almost constant state of disrepair. The local carpenter keeps his family of 4 fed on the repairs here alone, although the punters don’t seem to mind much. In fact, they cause most of the damage.
The menu is simple, beer, whiskey or beer. On request a side of cigars is available for children. No one comes here for high quality service, although the entertainment isn’t bad. Bar fights are an almost daily occurrence, the piano music is tolerable, and someone is always willing to take your money at cards, dominoes or any other game you can bet on.
The proprietor, Tyrun Deadeye, sees himself as somewhat of a leader of the townsfolk, but his loyalties are mostly bought with booze and gold. Missing his left eye from birth, he wears an ostentatious eyepatch and tells every newcomer a different story about how he ‘lost’ it.

Design Notes
Deadeye Saloon 01 Bar
- 01 – Boardwalk – Numerous broken planks are scattered with broken bottles and shattered glass.
- 02 – The Floor – Most of the tables are battered to some extent. There used to be more, but Tyrun removed a few to make space for the bar brawls.
- 03 – Mezzanine – These tables are ‘reserved’ for gaming. Unofficially overseen by Jock Higgins, there is always a seat for those with money (or fingers) to lose. Just don’t let the brawls from the floor spill over. Jock has been known to throw a man full bodied out of the window for disturbing his game.
- 04 – Bar – Manned 24 hours a day by Tyrun or one of his workers. Numerous bottles line shelves at the back, but they all contain the same brackish brown spirit. The illusion of choice.
- 05 – Back of House – Staff and VIPs only
- 06 – Private Booth – Can be hired for a fee. Personal service from Deadeye himself, or any of the beautiful folk that wait patiently up on the gallery, can also be requested.
- 07 – High Rollers Table – Jock runs a game here twice a week for those he deems rich and stupid enough.
- 08 – Privy
- 09 – Stock Room
Deadeye Saloon 02 Gallery
- 10 – Gallery – Heavily adorned ‘companions’ of all genders lean against the rail, calling down to the punters below in a flirtatious manner. Tables on either side are taken by those looking for a quieter experience, or a better view.
- 11 – Companions Rooms – Rented by the hour
- 12 – Deadeye’s Room – Deadeye spend 20 hours or more a day out in the saloon, but in his few hours of rest, he can usually be found here.
- 13 – Blackjack Tables – Manned by Jock’s cronies.
- 14 – Balcony – Almost the entire town can be viewed from up here. Few punters choose to sit outside though, too far to walk to the bar.
