Before being ripped from its foundations by Poseidon to soothe his ego, this temple was the prize of the city. Many hundreds of worshippers from all over the continent came to see the beautiful craftsmanship and worship at the feet of the god. Now all that is left is a crater and a scattering of marble and bronze rubble overlooking the ocean below.

However, the previous keepers say that some nights a ghostly version of the temple appears on the spot, now in ruins and soaked with brine. One or two have entered the spectral temple, following the glowing lights coming from below, but as they didn't return before the apparition vanished, no others have attempted it.
