The rebellion finally comes to a head as the towns folk band together to storm the Daimyo's Castle. Lord Katamori is trapped inside with only his personal guard for protection. If Takano was captured, he will also be here, kept in the prison cells below the castle waiting for judgement, along with any others who were taken in the initial skirmishes.

Katamori's force is greatly outnumbered, but they have the advantages of superior equipment and training, the castles high walls, and knowledge of all of the secret hiding places throughout the complex.

The battle will be close, and may very well be swung by the choices made by the party. Who will they ultimately choose to side with?

I have collaborated with Music D20 on this map set. He has created an awesome battle track to help set the atmosphere. Download 'Storming the Daimyo' from the link above. Check out his Patreon for more incredible TTRPG music for your games. Pledging $2 gives you immediate access to more than 3 hours of music, pledging $5 gives you more than 5 hours of music! He even has his own music app for integrated playback. There are also 'percussion only' and 'no percussion' versions of 'Storming the Daimyo' for patrons.

This map concludes the Feudal Japan inspired series and brings the story of Iido to a close, at least for now. I'd love to hear how you use these maps in your own campaign!

Use the link at the top of this post to download the labelled & unlabelled day, night and winter variants of the map in Print and/or VTT format.

That’s really an amazing Map. I am really looking forward to use it for our campaign down the road.
