This is the free set of this months 'Into The Wilds' maps. The Into the Wilds maps are intended to be simpler & more generic than my regular sets and are perfect to drop in for random encounters when on the road or for when the party takes an unexpected turn and you want to be prepared. They are also completely free! Patrons get access to high resolution versions and extra variants.

  This months Into the Wilds theme is Jungle as voted for by Adventurer tier Patrons.

  • Cenote Opening - These large waterfall sinked holes are dotted all over the jungle, often so hidden by overgrowth that you can easily fall into one if you aren't paying attention. Some are used by local villages as a water supply, others are used in rituals or as places of worship. A few of them have become home to large creatures that fell in and, while unable to escape, have somehow managed to survive.

  • Cenote Pool - The moss covered rock walls are almost impossible to climb, and the overhang at the top ends any attempt at escape. Some Cenotes are connected by very narrow underwater tunnels, so for the fearless few there may be another way out.

  • Off the Path - The jungle is dangerous regardless of whether you follow the narrow game trails or infrequent dirt paths. However the further in you delve, the less likely you are to return.

  • Jungle Chasm - Seismic activity in the area causes these large chasms to open up, and occasionally widen or even re-close. Rope bridges have been constructed across a few of the larger ones by locals, but they are not regularly maintained so any that succumb to further tremors are often left broken for days or even weeks. Maybe you can jump it?
