Into the Wilds is a collection of 9 fully customisable, biome and region themed physical battlemap books for your favourite TTRPG. They are ideal for pre-set or random encounters, so you can be fully prepared no matter which direction your players choose to head in

The battlemaps come in two variations, a fully-furnished highly-detailed version with props and assets already placed for an extra level of immersion and story telling, and a second unfurnished version for you to customise however you need with the included re-usable asset stickers or that trusty dry-erase marker.

This is the free set of this months 'Into The Wilds' maps. The Into the Wilds maps are intended to be simpler & more generic than my regular sets and are perfect to drop in for random encounters when on the road or for when the party takes an unexpected turn and you want to be prepared. They are also completely free! Patrons get access to high resolution versions and extra variants.

This months Into the Wilds theme is Swamps as voted for by Adventurer tier Patrons.

• Swamp Dock - Although the water is rarely more than neck deep in the swamps, there are enough open waterways to travel around via shallow bottomed boats. It is easy to get lost however, so make sure to take a guide and whatever you do DO NOT TRY TO SWIM.

• Floating Home - Some choose to live in the waters of the swamps, rather than on the relatively 'dry' land around it. This has the advantage of keeping out many of the larger predators that roam the area.

• Hanging Tree - In the past, a large group of bandits had a hideout in the swamp near here. They would hang bodies from this gnarled tree to warn off any who came too close, until a group of adventurers dealt with them. Many still believe the tree is haunted by the victims.

• Tree House - Built into the stump of an enchanted tree, this dwelling is occupied by an apothecary of fey origin. Many believe her to be an oracle of sorts, able to give a glimpse into your future for a price.
