Hello hello my dear supporters!

First off sorry for the longer absence, January was a weird month for me and all these Corona-restrictions are kind of... downing my moods? I dunno exactly how to describe it, its strange...

On one hand I still go to work and see at least my boss, sometimes my best bud and some customers, yet all the physical distancing from people, no events at all, limited range of distance I can move from home I cant even visit people who are really important for me... It feels a bit like freedom in a jail or somethig... I can do art at home, work out fairly okay at home (gym closed since mid october sadly), yet I feel so effin unmotivated and kind of alone, even with a roomie and our two cats...

On the other hand I spent January building up a new PC for me, some parts new, some given by friends, also doing the same for a friend, which both is done now finally.

Anyways!

Today you will get a high resolution version of this nice pic of the only bunny I ever drew so far, keeping focus on his lower body as bunnies are known for their fast sprinting and jumping. x3

This pic was done back in 2012 and was originally created by my friend Elly (known as Newberrychucks) and the two of us discussed about a little backstory and a name for him.

His name is Kyriell (or Kay for short) and he works as a pizza delivery guy by foot instead of cars as he's a pretty fast and skilled runner (and would probably profit from nowadays' situation as restaurants are closed xp)

he's quite a bit shorter than DJ, around 175cm (~5'9") without ears (DJ is breathtaking 212cm / 6'11" tall!), but working out with him and his friends got hm not less jacked up during the years than Kyriell's role models!

Maybe there will be one or two more artworks of Kay in the future, maybe any of you got ideas?

-A4 sized paper "Bristol" 220g/m²
-light table for pre-lines
-copic multiliner 0.05 black
-copic markers
-paint brush size 6 and white acryl paint for a few highlights
-white color pencil for serval highlights

Thank you a lot for your support, stay tuned for future art I'm finishing bit by bit, even with work and this stupid crisis we all go through. <3

As always, please no sharing on other sites, no using and/or editing without explicit permission!

Stay awesome and healthy, and especially stay sane and dont get yourself down by all this. <3

Heya! Good to hear from you :D And you got nothing to apologize for! Covid and the Restrictions have an effect on everyone, and I think many feel the fatigue of it after more than a year of this. I also notice how the restrictions here in my country affect my mood, being only able to go to work twice a week and really only seeing my roommate. I just hope that everyone can though it out until everything is over, but I can totally understand that people slowly go crazy 😅 I quite like this pic! I think you did pretty well with focusing on the legs. Those muscular trunks are probably faster than most cars, and being able to run anywhere sure has advantages when delivering stuff :3 But the rest also looks good! He has an impressive back and those arms also look quite strong^^ The landscape actually remind of somewhere here in Switzerland, with the field to the right and the forest XD Overall really cool picture! And damn, DJ really is a big Beast with his 212! I love it :3 As for Ideas for more artworks with him? Maybe Kay on a running track, in the typical “starter pose” the runners make before the start of a race? Or him in the gym with DJ, training those legs^^ A “leg day” with those 2 could look interesting. Anyway, keep up the good work und keep up your spirits! Looking forward to next month, or whenever you decide to post :D PS: Wasn’t this Picture once “stolen” by a gym?

I gotta second the workout suggestion! In the gym with DJ training the legs, doing some squats! And maybe the two of them after a workout comparing their gains ;)

I was always particularly in awe of the calves on this bunny when I first saw this piece. As your other characters have generally become bigger and bulkier, does it still interest you to draw a smaller but still visibly muscular and defined body?

Good to hear from ya DJ. No need to apologize for anything. We know times are tough right now with the lockdowns. I hope that all goes well for ya in these trying times! Be safe and well! :3
