I try to answer all questions, but unfortunately the feedback doesn't always work well. My work schedule is tight, I don't always manage to answer on time. Sometimes I miss something. Therefore, now once a month I will accept any questions in the "Answers to Questions" section and answer all at once.

There are not many questions, from which I conclude that everything suits everyone :) Just kidding.

The project is frozen (but not canceled). I tried several ways to make metal armor, but I'm not happy with the result. Now I'm experimenting with materials to achieve the desired effect.

What are the steps that goes into modding?

  • Creation of models. Low poly for the game and high poly for normal maps.
  • Attaching the model to the skeleton and setting up (rigging).
  • Create textures and materials
  • Export to the game.

Approximately how long does it take to make one mod?

Depends on the complexity. It takes about 7-10 days to create a naked body from scratch, texturing and preparing it for export. Creating of one piece of clothing  (boots, shirt, shorts, etc.) 1-3 days. It also depends on the complexity. Another 1-2 days to put everything together and get the mod.

What programs do you use?

Lots. I will name the main ones. For working with 2D: - Substance Painter, Photoshop. For 3D: - 3dsmax, Zbrush, Blender.

Who is alphaZomega and why is he such a big name in the modding scene?

alphaZomega is a programmer and artist. He is one of the leaders of the modding community. Almost all the toolkit for creating mods for RE2-3 (and not only) was created by him. I know him recently, but I think he has been doing this for a very long time. Good professional.

Claire is often asked about. I myself feel that it is time to take a break from Jill and RE3. I will tell you more about this in the news. Hopefully I'll get to Claire in February. There will be a new mod with new physics, new materials, etc.

Angel Toss: - When is the spot on the right leg of "Bodyperfection3 ver.3 Naked" Modified?

The spot appears when the model is exported to the game. During the export of the model to the game, the texture coordinates of several vertices (2 or 3 vertices) are shifted. Removing it is not difficult, just sometimes I forget about it. "Bodyperfection3 ver.3 Naked" has already been fixed. Re-Download mod.

Jake firnstein: - What exactly do you mean by "Light customization of the ANY mods." for membership levels?

Light customization is a small change in the mod. For example: recolor, prints on a T-shirt, tattoos (small size, not like the yakuza), remove\add shoes (! Shoes only from my mods), remove an item of clothing (topless, bottomless, barefoot, etc.) , remove\add pubic hair, flatten the foot or put on tiptoe. Making a new model (like new shoes) is not an light customization. This is a commission.

I will definitely return to Amazon Jill as soon as there are good ideas. I don't have them yet. Maybe I'll make a new outfit for Cammy.
