I would like to get to know you guys more, so I'll be posting every now and then polls.
What do you guys personally prefer? Human characters or furries or both? You can also include your story in the comments if you like, I share with you in return a bit about myself too.

I personally started as a normal human-lover back in the days at Y-Gallery (I had nothing against furries, but I lived in a conservative environment where even being gay was taboo and the internet was not as broad yet as nowadays so I had very little access to information, so I didnt even really know about the furry world), and then I dared to draw "a non humanoid character that is too intelligent and occupies at least 50% importance on the picture" (it was a Jak and Daxter fanart and Daxter was a no-no) so the picture got removed, therefore a friend of mine told me about Furaffinity and even tho I wasn't a furry at that time, I was still happy that I can draw whatever I want, without thinking too much about AUPs and whatnot. Also, I always loved animals and started to draw myself as a cat first, which was just for fun, but I got really attached to it and I draw some friends as anthro chars too, so slowly but surely I shifted to being a "furry". I use quoted, because this term is not that well defined and has many loose ends, but nowadays I just love drawing any kind of character, be it human or anthro. I love that especially cartoon characters have so many colors, like Richard from gumball is Pink, the Goblins in "Reborn as a Slime" are nice green, or beach guys have a nice tan, etc etc. so I really couldn't pick a side, I just enjoy them all. ♥

Maybe try doing Bernard from Ok KO, werewolf and human form!

God I remember the horror of y-gallery and their weird policy on furry characters- I drew a picture of Junko from Storm Hawks and I was like REPORTED hahaha under their strike system.

I think they could've kept the site further alive if they got rid of those weird rules, especially if they see that there's more and more demand for other things too. I drew a demon once, that had normal human anatomy, just darker reddish skin and horn, and that got banned too. :X
